1 Corinthians 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

We need to realize that the communion is holy, but we also need to discern the Lord's Body.  The members are the Body of Christ.  We need to look past the flesh in our brother and sister and we need to see the Christ who is in their hearts.  We need to see the ministry, which is Christ unveiled, Christ is vessels of clay.
