| v 2 Incomplete Knowledge |
|
We do know some things, but we know nothing in completeness. Some have tried to imply that they have the full revelation. Some organizations have added these claims to their catechisms and even to their names, but no such knowledge or experience exists. God is infinite. There are infinite glories to explore. There infinite heights to which we may attain. When we have a wonderful experience and revelation from God, it feels as if we have just discovered the ultimate. However, we have just begun to know Jesus. We have just begun to know the Father. 1 Corinthians 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. Note that this Scripture does not say that we know nothing. It says that we know nothing as we ought to know. Scientific method has captivated the mind of the present generation. The problem with the method is that it discourages all further exploration of the spiritual realm. We must explore the depths of the Spirit of God. The Father sent the Son, Jesus, to bring us to the point where we could have communion with the Father. Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, Jesus gives us the free gift (grace) of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our guide and teacher. The human mind was never created to function outside of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. God created the human mind (also known in Scripture as the soul, life, and heart) to work in submission to the Holy Spirit. God is the source of all knowledge, wisdom, and understanding."" />
