v.9 No Sin

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The sinful flesh is not born of God. When we are born again, we have the seed of Jesus in our hearts. Everyone who is born from above, born again, is a new person. They have flesh, but they ARE now members of the Body of Christ. They ARE ministries. They identify with their ministry, which is Christ in them the hope of glory. If they do sin, the fact that they agree with God that sin is evil and that they do not want to sin, indicates that it is not the ministry, the Christ in them, who has sin. It is the sin that dwells in their bodies that sins. Paul explains this very clearly in his letter to the Romans.
