| v.8 Christ in Us |
|
Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: If we understand ministry correctly, we begin to discern the Body of Christ. The ministry is the living Christ within the heart of the believer. This is totally unavailable to the unbeliever; the unbeliever can only do the bidding of his or her father, Satan. Though Satan makes himself to appear as an angel of light, he is still always only evil continually. The Christ, that anointing, is the grace of God flowing from the heart of the believer and He manifests, reveals, Himself through the believer. He never sins. He never commits adultery. He never covets. He never steals. He never lies. The old Adam is nailed to the cross and continues to try to get our attention, to advise us. The old Adam never obeys God but only obeys his father, Satan. Now, we know that we are dead to self and alive to God. At those times when we forget that fact, we listen to the old Adam, the self, and we fall into sin. Sin requires repentance to get back on the walk with Jesus to fulfillment and away from frustration.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
