Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
The flesh cannot be reformed. It can only be hypocritical. It can do things to show itself that it is good, yet it is not. It is a liar and it has to die. If you build up Christ, the flesh dies. If you build up the flesh, you re-crucify Christ in your heart. You can control whether you yield to your flesh or yield to God. You have a will. God will not take over your will, and Satan cannot.
