Hypocrites -- Wise Sayings About HypocritesHypocrites are people who won't admit they are sinners and that they need Jesus as their Savior. A folk singer is a person who gets rich singing about how wonderful it is to be poor. A hypocrite is one who tries to be righteous on his or her own, especially when they won’t admit how badly they are failing. There would be less hypocrisy among Christians if more Christians would get saved. There would be less hypocrisy among Christians if saved Christians would keep pressing on toward higher heights and deeper depths in Christ Jesus. Some, who push Socialism, accuse any non-Socialistic Christian of being a hypocrite, but Socialism is neither the Kingdom of God nor the mission of the Church. The Kingdom of God is established first in the heart, and it cannot be established by coercion. Hypocrites say, "I love the poor so much that I’m going to take this other guy’s money and give it to the poor." Hypocrites do this rather than reaching into their own pockets to help the poor and needy.

The Bible can only be understood by revelation, and revelation is given by the Spirit of God. God does reveal in His own way. But we only know in part. If we think we know any thing, we do not know it as we ought. We are instructed, by God, to keep seeking Him. The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. The truth sets us free. Lies bind us. Whoever seeks Jesus does find Him. Jesus is the truth.
