RamapithecusThese enthusiastic and "objective scientists" took a mere handful of teeth and jaw fragments, added in a generous amount of imagination, and built an ancestor for mankind called ramapithecus. Louis Leakey later pieced these fragments together incorrectly in a form resembling part of the human jaw. Now it is known that Mr. Ramapithecus was just an ape.
