The New Age Movement

The New Age Movement adopts Christian language but redefines the terms. Teachings include elements of astrology; mysticism; use of crystals; yoga; tarot readings; holistic medicine; psychic abilities; angelic communications; channeling; amulets; and fortune-telling. One twisting of Biblical teaching is the New Age teaching that the rainbow is the astral bridge to Satan rather than the promise of God never again to bring a global flood. To the New Ager, god is everything; everything is god, an impersonal life force that pervades all things, which is pantheism. New Age teaches a different jesus from the Biblical Jesus whom Christians serve.
