Genesis Chapter 5

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God; 2 He created them male and female; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. 3 And Adam lived 130 years, and fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image; and named him Seth: 4 Adam lived 800 years after he had fathered Seth, and he fathered sons and daughters: 5 And all the days that Adam lived were 930 years and he died. 6 And Seth lived 105 years and fathered Enos: 7 And Seth lived 807 years after he fathered Enos and fathered sons and daughters: 8 And all the days of Seth were 912 years and he died. 9 And Enos lived 90 years and fathered Cainan: 10 And Enos lived 815 years after he fathered Cainan and fathered sons and daughters: 11 And all the days of Enos were 905 years and he died. 12 And Cainan lived 70 years and fathered Mahalaleel: 13 And Cainan lived 840 years after he fathered Mahalaleel and fathered sons and daughters: 14 And all the days of Cainan were 910 years and he died. 15 And Mahalaleel lived 65 years and fathered Jared: 16 And Mahalaleel lived 830 years after he fathered Jared and fathered sons and daughters: 17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were 895 years and he died. 18 And Jared lived 162 years and he fathered Enoch: 19 And Jared lived 800 years after he fathered Enoch and fathered sons and daughters: 20 And all the days of Jared were 962 years and he died. 21 And Enoch lived 65 years and fathered Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and fathered sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were 365 years: 24 And Enoch walked with God and he was not there: for God took him. 25 And Methuselah lived 187 years and fathered Lamech: 26 And Methuselah lived 782 years after he fathered Lamech, and fathered sons and daughters: 27 And all the days of Methuselah were 969 years and he died. 28 And Lamech lived 182 years and fathered a son: 29 And he named him Noah, saying, "This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which Jehovah has cursed." * 30 And Lamech lived 595 years after he fathered Noah and fathered sons and daughters: 31 And all the days of Lamech were 777 years and he died. 32 And Noah was 500 years old: and Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.
25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This [same] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

1 This [is] an account of the births of Adam: In the day of God's preparing man, in the likeness of God He hath made him;
2 a male and a female He hath prepared them, and He blesseth them, and calleth their name Man, in the day of their being prepared.
3 And Adam liveth an hundred and thirty years, and begetteth [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calleth his name Seth.
4 And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years, and he begetteth sons and daughters.
5 And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dieth.
6 And Seth liveth an hundred and five years, and begetteth Enos.

23 And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty and five years.
24 And Enoch walketh habitually with God, and he is not, for God hath taken him.
25 And Methuselah liveth an hundred and eighty and seven years, and begetteth Lamech.
26 And Methuselah liveth after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
27 And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he dieth.
28 And Lamech liveth an hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth a son,
29 and calleth his name Noah, saying, 'This [one] doth comfort us concerning our work, and concerning the labour of our hands, because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.'
30 And Lamech liveth after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety and five years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
31 And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy and seven years, and he dieth.
32 And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begetteth Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
