Alimony is the high cost of leaving.

Don't despair: there are plenty of things money won't buy.

Don't marry for money--you can borrow it more cheaply.

Drive defensively.  An accident that doesn't happen helps both you and the other driver.

Drive like a nut and you may soon get cracked.

Generosity given with strings attached is not really generosity.  It's a deal.

If the job doesn't mean more than the pay, it will never pay more.

The best things in life may be free, but things money can buy aren't bad either.

The best way to double your money is to fold it once and put it back in your pocket.

The constitution guarantees you the pursuit of happiness but doesn't guarantee to finance the chase.

Chuck Colson noted: "Our founding fathers understood the pursuit of happiness to mean the pursuit of a virtuous life." Virtue is goodness. Jesus said, "There is none good but God." Paul indicated that righteousness is a free gift from God and that it is grace that does good works through us, not we ourselves. He also says that it is faith that gives access to grace, and that faith comes by hearing the word (literally, utterance) of God. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My Voice."

The only trouble with a sure thing is the uncertainty.
