One of Satan's favorite and most effective attacks is to accuse the godly of intolerance.  Notice how effective Satan has been in silencing followers of Christ with these two attacks: "You are stupid!" and, "You are intolerant!"  This is usually a tactic of those who are insincere and merely trolling, that is, they troll for Christians as one would troll for fish, with provocative statements or questions but a mind that is totally closed and set on destruction.  Here is a page on how to handle trolling.

Don't let Satan turn any discussion into a contest.  Contests have winners and losers and no one likes to be a loser.  Discuss without turning the other person into a loser or turning yourself into the winner.

An easy way to handle people who love to argue but who have closed minds is to tell them the truth:

This is true whether they say "Evolution is science," "There is no God," "God doesn't speak to you," "You are stupid," "You don't understand science," "I don't have enough evidence to believe," "There is no evidence for God," "The Bible has errors," or any other thing, so just say some variation of the following:

Interestingly, Satan has re-defined tolerance to mean something that it does not really mean.  When the word, tolerance, is used today, it sometimes takes on a new meaning.  Now, the word, tolerance, seems to only apply to Christians.  This is understandable, since the word is being used by Satan.  Now, tolerance means being intolerant of Christ and those who follow Him.

Tolerance used to mean to tolerate.  That would be to avoid coercion of others who do not agree with us. 

Here is a perfect example of intolerance: calling those with whom we disagree stupid and intolerant in an effort to coerce.

When an Atheist, a Hindu, or a Liberal becomes judgmental against followers of Christ and accuses them of being intolerant, the ungodly person is trying to use coercion to force the Christian to stop being a follower of Christ.  They imply that it would be tolerant to stop being a follower of Christ.  In fact, it seems that more than half of all who call themselves Christians and organizations that call themselves Christian organizations have stopped following Christ in hopes that the ungodly would stop attacking them.  How foolish of them.
