You are certainly not saved from righteousness and good works so that you can sin.

You are saved to righteousness and good works by Jesus Christ's obedience and sacrifice on your behalf.

You are saved so that God can do His good works through you as you yield to Him.

You didn't receive salvation because you were good.

You received salvation because you were needy. You received salvation to make you good.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Galatians 5:16 [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
