True Hope

The Bible says that there is coming a time when those who have come to maturity will experience the redemption of their bodies. This is the true hope of the Church. Many have speculated as to the details of how it will be when this will happen, but we do know that we go from glory to glory even now.

Eventually, these things will be revealed to the entire Church. For now, it appears that only a remnant will receive this revelation that has been given to the apostles and passed down to the local elders who shepherd (pastor) the flock. The Church is being built according to the pattern of Scripture. This revelation of Scripture has been given in the process of restoration and on the way to the manifestation of the sons of God and full sonship. If this speaks to your heart, then you are probably called to a higher walk. Many Christians will reject these words. They are still born again, and they can mature to the point that they do accept God's Scriptural methods for sonship. However, they are stuck in some theology or organization, and they require your constant prayers. As it works out, God doesn't care about their opinion any more than He cares about mine. God has His own opinion.

No one can come to this walk by man-made religion, forms, rituals, entertainments, anarchy, lawlessness, the law, or any other method other than the patterns of Scripture for the Church and for your walk with Jesus. If you have found yourself in a Church that is not following the pattern of Scripture, you may find yourself feeling frustrated.

Did you know that the Scripture teaches that your body will be redeemed?

Romans 8:23 "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body."

NOTE: Eastern adoption is not the same as Western adoption. Eastern adoption is the placing of a mature son into a ruling position.

(BBE) And not only so, but we who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we have sorrow in our minds, waiting for the time when we will take our place as sons, that is, the salvation of our bodies.

(Darby) And not only that, but even *we* ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, awaiting adoption, that is the redemption of our body.

(LITV) And not only so, but also we ourselves having the first fruit of the Spirit, also we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly expecting adoption, the redemption of our body;

(WNT) And more than that, we ourselves, though we possess the Spirit as a foretaste and pledge of the glorious future, yet we ourselves inwardly sigh, as we wait and long for open recognition as sons through the deliverance of our bodies.

(YLT) And not only so, but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting--the redemption of our body;
