1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue to wander from the narrow way that leads to Life so that divine power for righteousness, holiness, and redemption may exist in abundance?
2 God forbid. How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer in sin?
3 Don't you know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?
4 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death so that, in the same way as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, in the same way we also walk in newness of genuine and absolute fullness of Life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His Resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him so that the body, which wanders from the narrow way that leads to Life, becomes inoperative so that from now on we don't serve as slaves to wander from the narrow way that leads to Life.
7 For whoever is dead is freed from wandering from the narrow way.
8 Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more, death has no more dominion over Him.
10 For, in that He died, He died to sin once, but in that He lives, He lives to God.
11 Likewise also realize that you are truly dead to sin but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Therefore, don't let sin rule over your mortal body, increasingly listening to its commands and obeying it in the body's desire for forbidden things.
13 Don't yield the members of your body as tools of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and yield the members of your bodies as tools of the Righteousness of God.
14 For sin shall not exercise control over you, for you are not under the law, but under divine power for righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
15 What then? Shall we wander from the path (that leads to Life) because we are not under the law but under divine power for righteousness, holiness, and redemption? God forbid.
16 Don't you know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves into obedience, you are slaves to whatever you obey, whether wandering from the path of life to progress into death--or obedience to good counsel to progress into Righteousness?
17 Thank God for divine power for righteousness, holiness, and redemption.  You were totally in bondage as slaves of sin, but you have obeyed, from the innermost mind, that pattern which was given into you by teaching.
18 Being then made free from sin, you became the slaves of Righteousness.
19 I speak referring to the human because of the weakness of your bodies. For as you have yielded the members of your bodies as slaves to uncleanness and also from law-breaking into law-breaking, in the same way, now yield the members of your bodies as slaves to Righteousness moving toward Holiness.
20 For when you were the slaves of sin, you were free from Righteousness.
21 What fruit did you then have in those things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
22 But now, being made free from sin and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit into Holiness and the end genuine and absolute fullness of Life of the Kingdom Age.
23 For the wages of sin (wandering from the narrow way that leads to Life) is death, but the charisma gift of God is genuine and absolute fullness of Life of the Kingdom Age through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Young's Literal

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things [is] death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

King James Version

1 What, then, shall we say? shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound?
2 let it not be! we who died to the sin -- how shall we still live in it?
3 are ye ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized?
4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk.
5 For, if we have become planted together to the likeness of his death, [so] also we shall be of the rising again;
6 this knowing, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;
7 for he who hath died hath been set free from the sin.
8 And if we died with Christ, we believe that we also shall live with him,
9 knowing that Christ, having been raised up out of the dead, doth no more die, death over him hath no more lordship;
10 for in that he died, to the sin he died once, and in that he liveth, he liveth to God;
11 so also ye, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to the sin, and living to God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not then the sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in its desires;
13 neither present ye your members instruments of unrighteousness to the sin, but present yourselves to God as living out of the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God;
14 for sin over you shall not have lordship, for ye are not under law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? let it not be!
16 have ye not known that to whom ye present yourselves servants for obedience, servants ye are to him to whom ye obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
17 and thanks to God, that ye were servants of the sin, and -- were obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which ye were delivered up;
18 and having been freed from the sin, ye became servants to the righteousness.
19 In the manner of men I speak, because of the weakness of your flesh, for even as ye did present your members servants to the uncleanness and to the lawlessness -- to the lawlessness, so now present your members servants to the righteousness -- to sanctification,
20 for when ye were servants of the sin, ye were free from the righteousness,
21 what fruit, therefore, were ye having then, in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those [is] death.
22 And now, having been freed from the sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit -- to sanctification, and the end life age-during;
23 for the wages of the sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] life age-during in Christ Jesus our Lord.
