See the Heavenly Vision

Philosophy is based on a world view, either Christian or non-Christian. A world view exists in the natural human mind. (1 Corinthians 2:14) That which is of faith is a heavenly vision. (Acts 26:19)

There is a difference between a heavenly vision and a world view. (Jeremiah 23:16) Naturalists assume that every person is in the same condition that Naturalists are in, the condition of being disconnected from Jesus and dependent on supposition. They assume that everyone is is subject to a world view that exists in the natural mind just as they are. (Romans 1:28) They cannot believe that God really is capable of articulate speech. (1 Corinthians 12:2)

Righteousness exercises our heavenly vision and improves it. Righteousness always starts with God--we can't initiate it. God leads. He speaks in many ways, especially through the members of Christ the Body, through ministries. (1 Cor. 12:3) Here is the process: 1. Faith comes by hearing the word (literally, utterance) of God. (Ro. 10:17) 2. Hearing requires humility and reverence, which is the beginning of wisdom. (Pr. 9:10) 3. Faith gives access to God's grace (Ro. 5:2) including the free gift of righteousness. (Ro. 5:17, Ro. 10:3, Isa. 45:8, Heb. 12:28) 4. Grace does the work of God in us. (1 Cor. 15:10)

These four steps take only a moment and continue moment by moment perpetually. This is God's process for righteousness in thought, word, and deed, bringing us from glory to glory. Of course, we can slow, stop, or reverse our progress by ignoring, adding to, or taking from God's leading or by trying to self-generate works. Anything that is not of faith is sin. (Ro. 14:23) Righteousness is love. (Ro. 5:5, Ro. 13:8-10, Gal. 5:13-14, James 2:8) Righteousness always leads toward the establishment of God's pattern.

When we hear His voice, we look into the perfect law of liberty. We see ourselves, the ministry, Christ in us, as opposed to the fleshly man of sin, and we see ourselves in the context of Christ the Body, every order, ministry, and office. When we respond to the leading of God by allowing Him to do His work through us, we respond to the perfect law of liberty. (James 1:22-25)

This transfigures us. God's righteousness brings holiness and redemption. (Ro. 6:19, 1 Cor. 1:30, 2 Cor. 3:18) When we discern Christ, we see Him as He is and become like Him. (1 John 3:2, James 1:22-25, 1 Cor. 13:9-12) While righteousness is in the moment, holiness is a transfiguration of what you are, a change in your mind. When we turn to Jesus instead of our own understanding, God plants His holy seed and the fruit of the Spirit springs up. We reap what we sow. (Hos. 8:7, Gal. 6:7-9) Holiness is Christ (your ministry) formed in you. (Gal. 4:19) It is progressive from glory to glory and from faith to faith. (Ro. 1:17) Holiness brings redemption. Redemption is freedom from sin's bondage.

The bottom line is this: are we being obedient to the instruction of the Holy Spirit. When God instructs you in this way and you obey by the power of His free gift of righteousness which He is giving to you, you are transfigured from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. This is the very process by which He gives you His holiness [a new mind] and redemption [freedom from sin's bondage].

Numbers 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream. Numbers 12:7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. Numbers 12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of...

Psalm 19:2 Day to day uttereth speech, and night to night sheweth knowledge....

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] them to babes. The deep things of God have been hidden from those who are considered wise and prudent.  His heart is toward the humble. 1 Corinthians 2:7-16 But we speak the wisdom of...

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] him....

The apostles receive the revelation and equip the Body with it: Matthew 16:17 "And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] it to thee, but...

Matthew 16:21-23 From that time forth began Jesus to shew to his disciples, how that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.  Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be to thee.  But he turned, and said to...

Luke 2:29-32 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten [Apokalupsis: removal of a covering or veil] the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Apocalypse (two Greek words, apokalupsis, and apokalupto meaning approximately the same thing) Literally, it means the removal of a covering...

1 Corinthians 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation [Apokalupsis: removal of a covering or veil], or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? Apocalypse (two Greek words, apokalupsis, and apokalupto meaning approximately the same thing) Literally, it means the removal of a covering or a veil. God often provides the interpretation...

1 Corinthians 14:29-33 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.  If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as...

1 Corinthians 14:30 If any thing be revealed [Apokalupto: removal of a veil] to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace This indicates a higher level of authority than those who speak by the Spirit of Prophecy. ...

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ\'s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed [Apokalupsis: removal of a covering or veil], ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Suffering is one of many forms of temptation.  When we suffer, we are also drawn...

The doctrine is not given by man but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Only God can reveal the interpretation of Scripture: Galatians 1:11-12 "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you,...

Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation [Apokalupsis: removal of a covering or veil] , and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. Apocalypse (two Greek words, apokalupsis, and apokalupto meaning approximately the same thing) Literally, it means the removal of a covering or a veil....

You can serve the intellect or you can serve God. You can tap into the made-up stories of your own fabrication (or the fabrications of others) or you can tap into the mind of God. Albert Einstein wanted to think God\'s thoughts. Many great scientists wanted to do the same. They were successful because God revealed the hidden wisdom and knowledge to them. There is a human faith, a...

There is a huge difference between a worldview and the leading of God’s Spirit First, it must be stated that every person has a worldview.  The only world we really have to overcome is the world that lives in our hearts and minds.  When we have overcome the world, the devil, and our flesh, we will call that the manifestation of the sons of God. No one really interacts with the actual...

Each of us lives in our own little world, which is similar to reality but not exactly the same as reality. That is to say that there are things that each of us misunderstands, know only in part, and address with imperfect wisdom. When two people communicate, they have a tendency to step on each other\'s little worlds. Some have termed this as: \"Each person has his or her own reality.\"...

When we are born again, we have spiritual senses, which grow and mature as we mature in Christ. We grow and mature by doing spiritual exercise. That exercise is like this: God speaks. He speaks through Scripture. When God speaks to us and we hear it, faith comes. (Romans 10:17) But we must wait for a word from God. We can\'t generate or work up this word. God gives a word...

Ezekiel 2:2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake to me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake to me. Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them God does speak. He speaks to us today in many ways. There are some who say that God...

Science and Logic are Limited Tools It is illogical to apply logic past its own limits and then claim that the results make sense. It is unscientific to apply science past its own limits and then claim that the results are valid. Human weakness keeps scientists and theologians from understanding because human minds are sadly lacking in the ability to perceive. The invention of instruments, such as the microscope and telescope, have...

2 Corinthians 11:13 and Revelation 2:2 speak of false apostles.   Acts 13:6, 2 Peter 2:1, Mark 13:22, Mathew 24:24, Mathew 24:11, Luke 6:26, Isaiah 44:25, Jeremiah 50:36, Jeremiah 23:16, Jeremiah 23:21, and many other Scriptures speak of false prophets.   Acts 20:29, 2 Peter 2:1, 2 Peter 2:12, and Matthew 7:15 speak of false teachers.   Ezekiel 34:2-10, Ezekiel 34:17-22, and John 10:12-13 speak of...

It is the proclamation of the Gospel, not argumentation, that transforms minds. See Give Them the Gospel. Everything that we believe either goes back to the Rock, Jesus, or else it goes to the sand, axioms. Axioms are just assumptions. They are deeply rooted assumptions. Axioms are made up and they are believed because they are believed. Even those who are most dedicated to logic as the only way to truth,...

Acts 2:42-43 speaks of the apostles' doctrine, and the church is to abide continually in this doctrine. Matthew 16:17 speaks of the apostles receiving the revelation. Ephesians 1:17 tells us that to understand the apostles' doctrine, even when they are right there teaching it to us, we need the Holy Spirit of revelation. Ephesians 3:5 tells us that things hidden in ages past are now being...

If you have not read Stories Versus Truth, you may want to read that before reading this. The points on this page may shake the faith of the Atheist in the precepts of Atheism, but the most important thing is that you share the Good News (Gospel). This is simple. All these other things may help, but it is the proclamation of the Gospel that transforms minds. See Give Them the...
