| Maturity |
God wanted you to be born into His family so that He could nurture you into full maturity. Maturity will be marked by the right kind of fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, meekness, kindness, faith, and inner strength that comes from God, Spiritual maturity does not consist of learning the doctrine of a denomination, but it consists of dying to self and living to God. It will fully be shown to the world when we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to the measure of the stature of fullness of Christ. There are things that make us more mature and things that make us less mature. Obeying Satan/flesh, ours or others, makes us less mature. Obeying God and any authority that God sets makes us less mature. As we mature, God always leads into His orders. God's orders are both maturity itself and a pattern that is designed to bring us into maturity. Some examples would be daily devotions, weekly meeting with the Body of Christ according to 1 Corinthians 14, the traveling of the camps (camp meetings), constant prayer, kindness, submission to God-set authority, the scriptural order of elders and deacons, seeing gifts, ministries, offices, discernment of false gifts, ministries, offices, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, faith, and temperance. Keep on keeping on! The best is yet to come. The Purpose Of Life and the Purpose of the Church?
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
