Evolution Polls

Only about 5% - 10% are fooled by evolution's stories.

Article on polling

Some time back, I met a creation scientist who told me to just have an open mind but not to accept flimflam because there is no proof for evolution. Since then, I tried this with my friend on the UW faculty who claimed to have absolute proof of evolution, but after I listened to every argument he had, he finally admitted that he didn't have any proof for evolution. Another friend presented argument after argument for evolution. We evaluated every argument together. He finally admitted that his opinion was all based on supposition and what he preferred to be true. After many such conversations, the only proof I have seen has been supposition, presupposition, speculation, axioms (that are really just assumptions), blind pseudo-faith in those who are in control, and circular reasoning. Real faith is solid and not like the blind, baseless, pseudo-faith of the ungodly.

In 1999, the ultra-liberal People for the American Way, whose anti-creation views are well known, commissioned a poll showing that 5% of Americans believe naturalistic evolutionism to be fully accurate. God doesn't care about public opinion, of course. God has His own opinion, plus He has all the intelligence, knowledge and wisdom, so polls don't really matter. The fact is that polls tend to put the beliefs of Americans at about five to ten percent of the population believing in naturalistic evolution as taught in the tax-funded schools. Some information about these polls, is at https://www.seekfind.net/Why_Do_Only_Five_Percent_Of_Americans_Believe_In_Naturalistic_Evolutionism.html.

If you ever heard anyone state falsely that Christopher Columbus had to take a stand against those Bible believers who thought the earth was flat, read this. "It was the Lord who put into my mind (I could feel his hand upon me) the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies. All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me. There is no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit, because He comforted me with rays of marvelous inspiration from the Holy Scriptures." (Columbus's Book of Prophecies) Here's proof that (as with the multi-denominational church of today) some followed Jesus while others did not in Columbus's day. And here is what seems to be the dividing point (then and now) in another quote from Christopher Columbus: "I am a most unworthy sinner, but I have cried out to the Lord for grace and mercy, and they have covered me completely. I have found the sweetest consolation since I made it my whole purpose to enjoy His marvelous presence." That experience is available today to anyone who will receive it, but God never forces Himself on anyone. 1Co 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. See also Rom 1.

God could have allowed the Bible to have errors, but the Bible has never been shown to have an error. Rationalized speculations about the Bible or poorly translated words in the Bible have been shown to be in conflict with empirical science. Rationalized suppositions and speculations about science (like evolutionism) have been shown to be in conflict with the Bible. Never has empirical science been in conflict with the Bible. Therefore, Christians everywhere can put God's Word over rationalized supposition in everything. And Christians have a right to ask tax-funded schools to teach reading, writing, real science, and math rather than flimflam.

Some parents are willing to spend money for private schools to avoid having their children brainwashed with evolutionism and political correctness, the counterfeit ten commandments. Private school students tend to have better math, reading, and writing skills (for about half the cost per student). Christians have a right to speak up so tax money is more efficiently and effectively used.
