1954 Churches Lose Freedom |
In 1954, Lyndon Johnson instituted limits to free speech for churches. Prior to 1954, churches were free to speak out about any and every topic - without government limitations. Clergy have had a muzzle imposed by the absolute ban on all speech that may be regarded as "political." In the years following the Liberal's ban, Clergy are no longer free to speak out on all vital and moral and political questions of the day. "... the proselytizers of a new faith: a religion of humanity that recognizes and respects the spark of what theologians call divinity in every human being. These teachers must embody the same selfless dedication as the most rabid fundamentalist preachers, for they will be ministers of another sort... to convey humanist values in whatever subject..." "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press." The Interfaith Alliance is a New York-based coalition of liberal religious groups that includes agnostics and atheists. It spends it's time lashing out at America's leading Christian religious leaders. Walter Cronkite, former CBS anchorman, is Honorary Chairman for Interfaith Alliance. That agnostics and atheists are included in this coalition of religious groups may seem odd, but agnosticism and atheism have all the markings of religions. A religion can be a religion even if it's god is self and not the true God. It's just a false religion. It's called the culture war, two religions each wanting to control. There are people from both sides who say that the other religion should keep out of politics and shouldn't try to influence anyone. The left side tends to draw members of several naturalistic and materialistic religions, including Atheism, Agnosticism, and Secular/Religious Humanism. Some naturalistic religionists feel that all U.S. Laws should be based on the precepts of the naturalistic and materialistic religions rather than the precepts of Judeo-Christian heritage. Some vocal materialists and naturalists feel that Christians and Jews should not have a voice at all. This is an interesting position given the numbers of Christians and Jews in comparison to the number of people who want to silence them. Lyndon Johnson twisted the Constitution and stole the First Amendment rights of the Church using his office in the Senate, and the the anti-God side of the culture war has continued twisting the Constitution since that time.
Atheism, Agnosticism, or Humanism are on the naturalistic side of the New Age networking religions. Some of the main precepts that they take on human faith are Materialism, Naturalism, Uniformitarianism, Evolutionism, and Rationalism, which is the belief that the human mind can reveal knowledge without the benefit of observation. These naturalistic religions look to the god of the human, the god of intellect, the god of self, and/or the god of sensual pleasure. The First Amendment of the Constitution, among other things, says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press." Oddly, the Naturalists interpret these words of the First Amendment to mean that the freedom of speech of the Christian religion shall be abridged. But the Constitution actually says that free speech shall not be abridged. It doesn't say that anyone's free speech can be abridged. Here's another weird thing; the Secularists go outside the Constitution to a personal letter written by Thomas Jefferson. That personal letter mentions the words, "separation of Church and State." Going outside the Constitution to decide what the Constitution says is a bit strange, but it gets worse. Thomas Jefferson was making the point, in his letter, that the State should stay out of the Church's business, not that the Church should stay out of the State's business. The Naturalists, however, turn that around to say just the opposite of what it actually says. The Bible says that the deep respect for God is the beginning of wisdom. It also says that the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. At the same time, It puzzles me anyone can have such an inability to understand a simple statement like this: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press." How could they think that the Secularist religions should be established to have free speech and that we should prohibit the free exercise of the Christian religion and abridge the freedom of speech of the Christian religion? A 2005 poll shows that 82% of Americans identify themselves as Christians. About 5% of Americans believe in Darwinian evolution. Why would anyone think that all those Christians should have no say but that the small group of Naturalists should control the State? Why do the Naturalists think that only their thoughts are valid and that Christian thought processes, judgments, and understandings are not valid? Additionally, these Naturalist/Materialist religions have a nasty and violent history. Even when the Catholic Church wandered away from the Bible and from Jesus Christ during the dark ages, they didn't even begin to approach the violence of Materialism and Atheiam. They are the religious force behind Hitler, Mussolini, the U.S.S.R., Red China, North Korea, Vietnam, and virtually every totalitarian government. They have a record of being particularly brutal toward Christians. And they want to control the 82% of all Americans who self-identify as Christians. Were it not for Christ, we would all act this way. Pray for those who act violently that they turn to Jesus, the source of all love and peace. ![]()
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question Topic: DegradationEven the United States has its own atheistic example in the formation of the town of Liberal, Missouri, where the goal was a "'town without a church, [w]here unbelievers could bring up their children without religious training,' and where Christians were not allowed." It took only a few short years, however, for this atheistic "paradise" in middle America to unravel. Since Liberal was started there has not been an average of... 1859-1903 Herbert Spencer applied the doctrine of Darwinism to all areas of life, working as a tireless evangelist for the Evolutionistic religion. It's amazing how dedicated and religiously zealous evolutionists are to their cause. Spencer was an example of Darwinistic extremism, of which there are many examples today. When asked why they are so dedicated, they reply... 1869-2009 Charles William Eliot became President of Harvard University and instituted godless Darwinism there, finishing the conversion of Harvard from a Christian university to a godless university based on Darwin\'s dogma. Eliot actually preached and enforced pantheism, a religion that says that all is god. This became the religion of Harvard. The laws of evolutionism and relativism became the only supreme laws. Eliot also dedicated Harvard to trying the prove... Christopher Columbus Langdell: A new basis for law Eliot, the devout evolutionist, had Christopher Columbus Langdell, another evolutionists, elected as the first dean of Harvard Law School, and Langdell instituted the concept of evolutionism into the study of law. Langdell did this by promoting a new basis for law, the case study method with the assumptions that laws ought to be constantly evolving. This was a total change the Founding Father\'s basis for... 1877 Louis Brandeis finished being indoctrinated at Harvard in evolutionism. The Brandeis Brief (1907)changed the way that the Supreme Court looks at law and the Constitution, basing decisions on iffy social science rather than God's immutable Law. David Whitney notes that the social sciences are on \"squishy, changeable, and very unstable,\"... 1864 A Complete Change in Thinking About Law Oliver Wendall Homes enters Harvard and, within a year, becomes a law professor. He pushed a socialist agenda and was rewarded with a Supreme Court appointment in 1902. Holmes worked with Brandeis to support government intervention... How did that which is outside the Constitution (unconstitutional) become constitutional? If the things that they taught you in school didn\'t seem to make sense, but you finally accepted them as fact, you must now realize that you were right in your first impression. They didn\'t make any sense. They were lies, and not very intelligent lies at that. Have patience as you read what follows. This kind of false \"logic\" is... 1923 Learned Hand founds the American Law Institute (ALI). ALI was funded by the godless Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations. In this way, a method to create a false authority was created. The purpose was to set up a method to declare that good is evil and the evil is good. This is, in fact, a direct fulfillment of Bible prophecy.... Basing his findings on surveys of prostitutes and those incarcerated for sex crimes, Alfed Kinsey presented his fraudulent research as a cross-section of the morals of the average American. (This is but the first of many such social \"science\" frauds that were committed by the ungodly, which are ongoing.) The drive-by media and corrupted educational system immediately acted as a false prophet, declaring the virtues of the Kinsey Report. In... Pre-Roe v. Wade The real issue is the perversion of what God created for marriage. Marriage is honorable in all, and the [marriage] bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 That, and the greed of the abortionists, is the only reason that anyone can support abortion. That is why the supporters of abortion willingly believe lies and accept faulty logic. 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme court used fraudulent data... A propaganda campaign that would make Richard Dawkins proud was mounted in early 20th century communist Russia by the League that effectively promoted atheism as progress and religion as poison. Prior to this time, Liberalism meant \"a belief in individual liberty.\" 1932 marked the beginning of a new meaning: \"a belief in paternalistic government and trading individual liberty for state-sponsored security.\" In 1932, Franklin D. Roosevelt talked about helping someone he called \"the forgotten man.\" This phrase came from a book that had been written decades earlier by William... 1977, U. S. President Carter along with his attorney general, Griffin B. Bell, authorized warrantless electronic surveillance. This surveillance, without a warrant, was used to convict of two spies. They took their case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, and that court unanimously... In 1995, Bob Russell wrote a prayer of national repentance and offered it at the Kentucky Governor's Prayer Breakfast in Frankfort Kentucky.
