God doesn't care about my opinion any more than He cares about yours. God doesn't need our ideas; God is full of ideas. It's amazing how opinionated we can become concerning issues about which we know little or nothing at all. Did you ever notice that, when evidence is running thin, the vehemence of the argumentation increases?
