Fake Reality

Example of what ungodly people sometimes say: "Really what you’re saying in a nutshell is that I should throw reality to the wayside and just believe that when I talk to you that it is really god talking through you."

This brings up the whole problem of the paradigm, the fake reality in this person’s mind. A paradigm is a worldview. It is a fake reality. It seems more like reality than reality itself. In this person’s paradigm/fake reality, God doesn’t exist. If it were true (which it is not) that God were not to exist, then God couldn’t speak through His people. This ungodly person’s fake reality has the well-loved lie that claims, “God doesn’t exist!!!!” Of course, in another part of this person’s mind is a region he hates. That is the region that he tries to block out, and his fake reality is largely a tool that he uses to try to block out this region of his mind. That region is his conscience, an innermost part of his mind. God speaks to him through his spirit into his innermost mind, and God calls him to Himself. But the man doesn’t want to go to God, so the man seeks to sear his conscience and inoculate himself against God with a false reality. But the man still knows that God exists, and God still speaks to him. The sad thing is that this particular man has a family, and he doesn’t care enough about them to steer them away from the wrath of God. He leads them according to his fake reality.
