Denying that God Speaks

The points on this page may shake the faith of the Atheist in the precepts of Atheism, but the most important thing is that you share the Good News (Gospel). This is simple. All these other things may help, but it is the proclamation of the Gospel that transforms minds. See Give Them the Gospel. You may hear "I know that God doesn't speak to His followers because I used to be a follower and received no such revelation. Nor did a single one of my friends and family once we reflected on our time spent in mental shackles." If you never heard from Christ, you were none of His. Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice." You can't apply your own experience or lack of it to every other person in the world. That would be insanity. If you had friends who also wore the name of "Christian" but never met the Savior, that doesn't prove anything either. My experience is real. The experience of my friends is real. The experience of hundreds of thousands of Muslims who have turned to Christ is real. I don't know whether you heard from Christ or not. Whoever knows Him hears His Voice. Whoever is on the side of truth (reality) listens to Him. Many people wear the tag of Christian and never know Him. They may have a rationalized human make-believe faith, sort of like when a kid believes in Tinkerbelle or the Easter Bunny. However, the real faith of God only comes when God speaks and we acknowledge Him. It's God's faith that is given as a gift. (some caveats about hearing God's Voice) You may hear some who deny that God speaks because they presuppose that God doesn't exist or they presuppose that God doesn't speak. This is circular reasoning and very common among unbelievers. You assume that God doesn't speak and by that assumption you assert that God doesn't speak. That is circular reasoning. Perhaps you could provide evidence that I and millions of other Christians are not experiencing what we are experiencing. It's pretty obvious that you have no clue about spiritual things. It's usually a pretty good idea to avoid becoming dogmatic concerning subjects about which you know little or nothing at all. You may hear some who just deny the God speaks without any reason. "People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it." ~ George Bernard Shaw People who say that no one can hear from God should not interrupt those who are hearing from Him. ![]()
