The good news includes two parts. First, the sin problem. Second, God's free solution. Third, a call to action. examples:God is absolutely just. He must deal with sin in justice. If you have ever done anything that violates any one of the 10 Commandments or ever shown disrespect to God, and everyone has, God must judge you. Your just and deserved punishment is Hell. But God loves you and He, Himself, became a man, Jesus, so that He could pay your price for you and set you free from slavery to sin. By paying the price, He can forgive you and yet remain just. This forgiveness is free. Have you ever thought about that? Perhaps you never considered that the absolutely just God must judge sin with Hell. Even one time of lust, disrespect for God, taking something that isn't yours, or any other thing, must be punished. So God became a man, Jesus, so He could pay your price for you so you could turn to Him, receive His righteousness, and go to Heaven, and yet maintain justice. He provides all this free. Have you considered this? The Almighty God Who created you and Who controls all things is absolutely just, so He must judge even the smallest sin. He is absolutely holy and perfect, and you must be perfect. He doesn't want you to go to Hell, so He paid the price of your sin Himself by dying on the cross. All you have to do is accept His forgiveness and commit to Him as your Savior and Master. Would you think about this? Perhaps you never considered that the absolutely just God must judge sin with Hell. Even one time of lust, disrespect for God, taking something that isn't yours, or any other thing, must be punished. So God became a man, Jesus, so He could pay your price for you so you could turn to Him, receive His righteousness, and go to Heaven, and yet maintain justice. He provides all this free. Have you considered this? What do you say if they reject Christ and just want to argue? The sin problem:God must judge sin and every person, including you, has fallen short of God's perfection and glory. Hell is real and I don't want you to go there. God is absolutely just, and you and every other person, has fallen short of God's perfect will. I don't want you to spend your future in Hell. God cannot allow sin and still be just. God is perfect and you must be perfect to avoid His judgment. I don't want you to go to Hell. God's solution:God has provided a solution. He personally paid your price by becoming a man, Jesus Christ, and paying your price on the cross. All that is needed is for you to accept the free gift and commit your life to Him. God became the man, Jesus, so that He could pay your price for you. It's a free gift. All you need to do is accept the free gift from Him and commit to Him as your Lord and Savior. Call to action:(In most cases, it is too much to say, "Would you accept Jesus right now?" The first action is to consider it.) Would you consider this? What do you think about this? Does this seem to make sense to you. Would you please give this some thought? Would you consider turning to Jesus for forgiveness and to be set free from slavery to your own sin nature? If they will think about it:Do you think that you will commit your life to Christ? In the light of what you know, do you think that you will one day commit your life to Jesus? Knowing all this, do you think it makes sense to make a commitment to Christ? If they will commit some day, then the next question is when:When do you think you will commit to Christ? When would be the best time for you to commit to Jesus and start a new life? What they might say: "I don't believe in God (or Hell)." If you don't believe in the Law of Gravity, that will not save you if you jump out of an airplane. This is reality.
