If you have not read Stories Versus Truth, you may want to read that before reading this. Whim ScienceEvolution isn't science. Evolutionism is actually junk science or pseudo-science and is used to "prove" things like evolution, global warming and other environmentalist scare stories, the distortion of what God has reserved for marriage between a man and woman, and other stories to promote various forms of immorality, the idea that socialism can work, and many other harmful ideas. "When evolution is seen as a storytelling game rather than a serious attempt at scientific explanation, it suddenly makes sense." - See more at: https://crev.info/2013/11/evolutionary-stories/ Ungodly people are forced to hold on tightly to some basic presuppositions. These presuppositions are just simple-minded assumptions. They are filters and a way to censor out any information that supports the existence of God. They set up a web of rules to filter out God. They will only accept those things that conform to Naturalism, materialism, and uniformitarianism. Naturalism claims that God does nothing. Materialism claims that there is no God or spiritual realm. Uniformitarianism claims that there was not creation and that there was no violent worldwide flood, as the Bible and numerous other historical accounts record. Whatever they observe that does not conform to this complex filter is censored. The way that it is censored can take several forms. The ungodly may boldly proclaim that, though the data appears to support God's version and refute the version of the ungodly, yet it still must be interpreted to mean just the opposite of what it does mean. A backup method that ungodly people use is to prophecy that in the future, science will be able to explain what they see as an anomaly. If that fails, they will hide the data, set it aside, or lie to keep the public from knowing the truth. The data clearly demolishes the story of the ungodly and clearly supports the reality of the Creator God, His Bible, and His abiding Presence in His people. When confronted with the obvious, a closed-minded ungodly person says, "I can't understand it." They are willingly ignorant because they refuse to hold God in their knowledge. The reality is that these people, for whatever reason, don't what to know the Creator. They don't want to truly know Jesus, their Creator.

Creation: relevance to Christianity, society and science
Geology, the Flood, the Ice Age and the age of the EarthThe problem here is one of speculation. God forbids speculation. Think about the difference between dogmatic speculation and a lie. There is no difference. A lie is an abomination. Jobs counselors said many wise-sounding things, but God said that they had spoken things about Him that were not true. It makes no difference whether the speculations are made about the Bible, the Creation, or both, they are lies. God reveals to us what we need to know. Speculation just causes division. Since many have speculated that the Creation that we see around us is in conflict with the Bible, scientists who believe the Bible to be true have created models that show possible ways that the Creation could be explained by the Bible. These are models and are not to be taken dogmatically. Any projection about the age of the Earth that goes beyond what the Bible specifically says are speculations. In fact, all of the scientific ways of guessing the age of the Earth or the Universe are not even scientific but are based on circular reasoning. That means that to give any strong weight to them is to believe a made-up story, a lie. In the same way, the many stories of Evolution are made-up stories. They are not scientific and they conflict with the clear teachings of Scripture. They are speculations. God forbids speculation. There is no physical evidence of a billions-of-years-old Earth. In fact, it is impossible to rationally put an age on the Earth from observation in the present. It is written in the Exodus 20:11 (in the Ten Commandments), "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy." God has also revealed that the genealogies add up to about 6,000 years, and He has revealed this by speaking to us through Scripture. There are many stories that imply that there is a way that billions of years might be compatible with the Biblical account of history. However all of these stories, the day-age theory, the gap theory, and any others, are pure speculation. So there is no evidence, either in Scripture or in the Creation, for billions of years. At the same time, it cannot be dogmatically stated that the Earth is about 6,000 years old. The reason for this is called the fallacy of the universal negative. You cannot possibly prove universal or absolute non-existence of anything unless God specifically reveals non-existence. God does reveal to us that "Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins." However, God has no such revelation that eliminates the possibility that there might be something that we don't know, that has no evidence that science can find, and that Scripture doesn't even hint at. If we are told that there is something that God has not told us about the age of the Earth, we can't absolutely deny it. Yet, since God didn't reveal it through Scripture, science, or any other means, we couldn't possibly believe such a claim. It is possible the God didn't tell us something. How would we know? Though the Bible and increasingly, scientific inquiry, seem to confirm a young Earth, it is possible that there is something that God chose not to reveal. Of course, this is kind of like the little man upon the stair who wasn't there. It's a bit of foolishness to consider it. So, the age of the Earth appears, from a straight-forward reading of Scripture, to be about 6,000 years. All age-guessing methods using science are based on made-up stories and arbitrary assumptions. Circular reasoning is the main scientific method to cover up the irrationality of such age-of-the-Earth claims from science. Yet, we cannot dogmatically make claims about things that we cannot know. It is possible that God didn't tell us something, but why would we think about it then?
