Galatians 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

This fruit of the Spirit is also duplicated in 1 Corinthians 13, but it is spoken of in terms of Charity or Love.  This is the Agape love that must flow from the throne of God.

The only way to bear fruit of the Spirit is to be born of the Spirit.  That is the planting of the seed.  When the seed has been planted, it must be watered and weeded.  The Holy Spirit is given for this work.  That is the work of the Church.  Notice that 1 Corinthians 12 speaks of the gifts of the Spirit, which are given by the laying on of hands.  And 1 Corinthians 14 along with Ephesians 4 speak of the exercise of Spiritual gifts in the Church, which causes edification.  Edification is the building up or maturing of the Church.  These are basic principles that have been neglected in the Church.
