Secular Religion

It seems strange to talk about a secular religion, but when you have a religion that is trying to be both a religion and a non-religion, logic is out the window. This is the case with Secular Humanism. As a religion, Humanism has political and social aspects that are emotional and fanatical.

The U.S. Senate of former Minority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., quietly slipped a provision into the No Child Left Behind Act that requires, by the 2007-2008 school year, science testing by grade 5. That gives censors the authority to force 10-year-olds to believe and defend evolution.

Here is a quote from a humanist that will give the reader the proper perspective.

"I am convinced that the battle for humankind's future must be waged and won in the public school classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as the proselytizers of a new [make-believe] religion of humanity that recognizes and respects the spark of what [some ungodly] theologians call divinity in every human being. These teachers must embody the same selfless dedication as the most rabid fundamentalist preachers, for they will be ministers of another sort, utilizing a classroom instead of a pulpit to convey humanist values in whatever subject they teach, regardless of the educational level preschool day care or large state university."
The Humanist, January/February 1983, "A Religion for a New Age."

It is long past time for parents to realize they have the right and duty to protect their children from the intolerant evolutionists. Hooray for courageous school boards that are finally rejecting censorship and allowing debate.

Phyllis Schlafly

I founded the CSPC because I know the danger posed by the left in general and the academic left in particular, the so-called "liberals" who can't tolerate a different point of view. Back in the 1960s, I was one of them. But I eventually saw that their agendas were anything but "progressive" -- as they like to describe themselves. They wanted the United States to lose the Vietnam War, just as they want America to be defeated in the war in Iraq today.

The anti-Vietnam left was successful. American withdrew from the battlefield in Vietnam and the Communists won, just as the left hoped. After the Communists won, they proceeded to slaughter two and a half million peasants in Cambodia and Vietnam. There were no protests from the left over that.

During the 1960's, young wealthy followers of Marx, Rosseau, Shelley and the like, the so-called illuminati, rejected the morals and society that had made them into spoiled rich kids. They formed an organization that spread their religion throughout colleges around the world. When their riots failed to totally destroy the American Bible-based society, thousands of these fanatics did whatever it took to enter fields where they could exert the most influence. They became politicians, news people, administrators in religious orders and denominations, lawyers, judges, entertainers, and college professors. They freely discriminated in hiring and promotion practices in order to help each other into positions of authority. They sometimes claim that they are not a religion and sometimes claim they are a religion. In fact, they are a religion, and they see no problem in discriminating, and in promoting and hiring only those who share their anti-Christ religious beliefs.

New Age is a diverse religion with many denominations. New Agers use the phrase, "unity in diversity." This explains why such diverse New Age religions can work together for a common goal. The New Age white supremacists can work together with New Age Eco-terrorists. The New Age Atheists can work together with the New Age Spiritists. How strange is the close relationship between homosexual and pro-abortion advocacy groups? And, it must be remembered, The religions that are liberal include New Age plus other religions that believe in the ability of the human to attain to goodness, as opposed to those religions that believe that there is none good but God.

New Age

Humanism is actually a denomination in the New Age Religion, an anti-Christ religion that is very wide-spread. The general tenet of the New Age Religion is "Do as thou wilt." It is hedonism. Everything that might curb hedonism is termed fascism. Everything that is hedonism is defined as a right. This religion has permeated the various secular and many Christian organizations. It appeals to the basics of human nature, so its doctrines are very easy to implant. It seeks, through coercion and entertainment, to implant its doctrine into every person. This is the root of the many changes in law (laws against morality and in favor of what has been labeled the new morality or political correctness) that have taken place-especially since the 1960s. The fruit of this religion can be seen in increased crime, perversion, and also in the persecution of certain selected groups of people i.e. Christians and Jews.

Humanism is fanatical in promoting deviant behavior that defiles the holiness of God's creation and to twist and make ugly what God has created to be beautiful in marriage. Another area of great zeal is the promotion of socialistic government. There is a tendency to lean away from free enterprise. There is a tendency toward disgust or intense dislike for those who believe in God and those who believe the Bible to be literally true. Here is something very odd: they have been able to peddle this lack of tolerance and lack of open-mindedness to the general populace as being tolerant, open-minded and scientific. This is possible only because they control the news media, the entertainment industry, the schools, and the judicial system.

They have reversed morality. They have legislated their new morality, the anti-God morality, as much as they have been able. And they push for increasingly more of this immoral morality. Books are constantly being written and promoted by immoral politicians, news media personalities, and movie stars to promote this immorality. They are desperate to push this immorality into every home in the world. What used to be wrong is now considered politically correct. What used to be right is now considered to be politically incorrect. We see the result of these changes in increased crime, corruption in high political offices, corruption among corporate leaders, diseases that are out of control and many other problems. Slouching Towards Gomorrah, a book by Robert H. Bork, Regan Books, New York, 1996, gives many interesting insights and some history about this subject.
