The words of which God speaks are real.  They are Truth.  It is His Truth that sets you free from Satan's lies.  He who does righteousness is righteous. (1John 3:7) Real righteousness is by grace through faith. God's process for righteousness is by grace, and grace is through faith. (Eph 2:8-10) (some caveats about hearing God's Voice)

God works His righteousness through seemingly small things. If you are walking in the Spirit, you will have relationships as described in Ephesians 5 & 6.You will have daily devotions in your home, be on time to service, minister, prophesy, testify, and sing in the service as you are led, and seek out and follow the advice of your elders, You will spend time in prayer with the understanding and in the Spirit, reading the Bible, meditating of the Word, and just spending time in the presence of the Lord.If these things are not happening, you are not walking in the Spirit.

There was a time when I thought that grace was somehow in conflict with works. Now, I have realized that the word, grace, means free gift. And righteousness is a free gift to us. (Rom 5:16, Rom 5:18-21) God does the work in us. (Rom 10:3)

We need to yield to Him. (Rom 6:13) Even our yielding is by the power of the Spirit. (Isaiah 10:27)

When we try to do the work, we just frustrate the grace (free gift) of God's righteousness, which He wants to do through us. (Gal 2:21)

So, we are set free from sin. (Rom 6:14) And we are set free to do righteousness, yet not us, but God. (1Cor 15:10) We need to wait for God to move in us and then yield to Him. (Gal 5:1, Gal 5:5) So often, we inject our self-nature into God's process. God's process for righteousness is by grace, and grace is through faith. (Eph 2:8-10)
