| What is God's way of bringing the Church to unity and to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ? |

Unity is righteousness. God's Way: apostles; prophets; evangelists; pastors teachers equipping the believers for the work of ministry, which is for building of the body of Christ UNTIL... And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting (equipping) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till (Until) we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom (Christ) the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body to the edifying of itself in love. The disunity is not of God. Yes, God will bless us in spite of our disorders, but He calls us to walk according to His order. He gives us power to do so. We will grow up into the head. We won't be little christs, of course. We will be the body of Christ and we will be joined to Jesus in a very intimate way. We will never speak our own words but only His words. We won't do our own actions but only His works. We will walk in the Spirit at all times and dwell in His presence at all times. There will be one church. It will not be a denomination. It will not be an organization. It will be the Body of Christ with a unity that causes it to move as one Body that is directed by One Spirit, the Spirit of God.
God has a method for bringing us to maturity in Him. His plan is that we would be transfigured by the renewing of our minds. For this process, He has given gifts of the Spirit to the members of the Body of Christ, so that there is none that has preeminence. All are necessary. His method is that every member have one or more gifts and that those gifts be the manifestation of God in the earth. Those gifts grow into ministries as they are used. They are used to minister outside the church, but they are the means by which every member ministers to every other member. It is a body ministry. Ephesians 4:15-16 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him [Christ] in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom [Christ] the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body to the edifying of itself in love. In plain English, the Church is built up into the fullness of Christ by a living, functioning body of Christ that is ministering (serving). Every member has a ministry and is a ministry. They are joined together in unity. Every joint--the place between two members--supplies what is needed. The Holy Spirit is working effectively in each member, each ministry, to make this take place. In this way, the body makes increase of itself by speaking the truth in love. It builds itself up into a holy temple to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. This is a progressive experience that goes from glory to glory and from faith to faith. All of this would be impossible in a church that does not submit to those apostles who have been set by God. It would be impossible to those who are laboring in vain under the false apostles and false prophets--and they are many. It should be impossible in a man-made church order. It would be impossible in and entertainment church because ministry is the flow of the anointing, the Holy Spirit, from one member to another. It is the flow of love from member to member. It happens by the operation of gifts and ministries, not by human emotion or rock and roll.
