Is God All Powerful? Is God Omnipotent?

Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return to thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Luke 18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Has God Always Existed? Is God Eternal?

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Jeremiah 10:10 10:10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Psalm 90:2 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Is God All Knowing? Is God Omniscient?

Proverbs 3:19 3:19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Romans 16:26-27 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 139:2-6139: Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain to it.

Psalm 139:12 even the darkness is not too dark for you to see, and the night is as bright as day; darkness and light are the same to you.

Isaiah 40:13-14 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him? With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Acts 15.18 Known to God from eternity are all His works.

Is God the source of all that is good?

We have nothing that we can bring other than to turn ourselves over to Him. He has done it all. We just need to yield to His love.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Do The Scriptures Show That God Is Light, And That In Him Is No Darkness At All?

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 Peter 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

How Can I Know God?

There is a huge difference between knowing about God and knowing God. Knowing about God is nice, but it can't change my life.

God makes exclusive claims for His way. There is only one way back to God.

As I come to know God more intimately, that changes my life even more than being born again.

That's why God gave so much beyond just being born again.

Everyone who believes in Christ is born again. That doesn't mean they will ever grow up in Him, though. When Christians stunt their growth by living a worldly life, this is not only a tragedy for the rebellious child of God who never grows up. It also casts a bad light on Jesus Christ and all His called out people. It gives fuel to the scoffers and abusers of Christ.

We get to know God by spending time with Him and respecting Him and loving Him. The word, "fear," in the King James Bible, means respect. If we love Him, we keep His commandments and they aren't grievous to us. They are enjoyable. (1 John 5:3) The Holy Spirit, flowing through us, makes them enjoyable.

God has given us the Holy Spirit so that we can have a changed life and walk in holiness.

It is the Holy Spirit Who enlightens the Christian to the fact that the Bible is the Word of God, without error or contradiction. And all that can be observed in the physical realm shouts, "Amen!" Though that enemy of our souls always brings many lying accusations to the contrary, the Scripture cannot be broken. (John 10:35)

The Holy Spirit, through the Scripture and what we can easily observe shows us that God created the world, and it was good. There was no death or sorrow. (Genesis 1:31, Genesis 3:22) Then, mankind fell short of God's plan by obeying Satan rather than God. That brought slavery for mankind--slavery to Satan. (Romans 6:16) This was the introduction of sin, which brought death. So death is the result of sin. All the trouble and evil in the world is the result of mankind's own rebellion.

How can a human being come into Holiness? God has a plan.

When a Christian is born again, they believe, and the only reason they are able to believe is because the Father draws them to believe in Jesus and to come to Jesus. (John 6:44-47) When a Christian has been born again, they have the Spirit of God with them. (John 14:16-20) They are immediately changed into a new person, seated with Christ in heavenly places. (Ephesians 2:5-6) When a Christian goes under the waters of baptism, they are burying the old sinful self and when they come up out of the water, they are rising in newness of life. (Romans 6:2-14) In the same way, when a Christian receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they are endued with power from On High. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 10:34-48, Acts 19:2-6) The Christian receives gifts of the Spirit by the laying on of hands by a group of elders who are called to that purpose. (1 Corinthians 12, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6)

As the Christian gives himself or herself to the gifts that have been given through prophecy and the laying on of hands, the ministry grows from those gifts. The gifts are the beginnings of the manifestation of the sons of God. They are an unveiling of the Christ within. The gifts of the Spirit are the weapons of our warfare. They are the tools that the ministry needs if it is to operate.

The gifts and ministries are used in the church, and there is an order for everything. The orders of God are simply the manifestation of the Christ who has been born in God's people.

We get to know God by learning to submit to His glory and walk in the glory of His Spirit. The Spirit of God is always orderly and leads in orderly way. God never leads us into sin or disorder.

There is an order for the home. (Ephesians 5:21-33) There is an order for the worship service. (1 Corinthians 14, Colossians 3:18-21) There is an order of elders and deacons in the local church. (1 Timothy 3:1-13 & 5:17, Titus 1:5, James 5:14-15) There is an order for apostles and deacons to the apostles. (Acts 6:5-6, Acts 8:14-20, Acts 15:2-16:4, 1 Corinthians 1:10-4:2, 1 Corinthians 4:9, 1 Corinthians 12:28, 2 Corinthians 11:13-14, Ephesians 2:19-22, Ephesians 3:1-5)

This is the hope of the church and the hope of the world.

In obeying the Spirit of God, we are drawn closer. The flesh dies. We are built up in Christ. (Romans 6, 7, and 8) Our senses are exercised by reason of use. (Hebrews 5:14) The human mind, which was never created to be used outside of a submissive relationship with God, comes into submission to the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:3-14, Romans 12:2, James 1:8, 2 Corinthians 8:12, Ephesians 4:23, Philippians 2:5-7, 2 Timothy 1:7, Hebrews 8:10, 1 Peter 4:1, 1 Peter 5:2) God is looking for a company of people who will speak His words and think His thoughts and do His acts as He flows, by His Spirit, through them, enduing them with power from on high. These are the first fruits of the Kingdom of God.

Anything else falls short of the glory of God.

The Church is part of this process, and we are built up by that which every joint supplies. (Ephesians 4:15-16, 1 Corinthians 14) Each of us is only a part. God chose to make us interdependent by dividing His gifts among us in such a way that we must walk into the Kingdom of God together in love. (1 Corinthians 12)

Why do some people deny that God exists?

God Knows Why People Reject Him.

God Is Holy And God Requires That You Are Holy.

Everyone Has Fallen Short.

If You Reject Jesus, You Are Rejecting The Mercy And Grace Of God.

The Wages Are Real: Heaven And Hell Are Real.

God's Love Is So Great He Gave His Unique Son To Buy Us Back.

God's Purpose Is To Bring You Back Into His Family.

God's Purpose Is To Have You Grow Up To Maturity.

There Is A Cost To Receiving Jesus As Your Savior.

Both materialistic evolutionary theory and theistic (God-controlled) evolutionary theory claim that we are all descendants of fish. Who could believe such a message? Only someone who wants to avoid God.

Given the scientific facts that have been uncovered, a person would have to be willingly ignorant to believe such a thing. They would have to want very badly not to know about God's power and sovereignty, wouldn't they? They would have to just blind their eyes.

You and I know that God created us and God knows that we know.

There is a lot that you and I know about God just by looking at the creation. The Bible is very clear that God speaks to you through the Bible, and not only through the Bible. In Paul's letter to the Romans, it says that everything that can be known about God, and the Godhead (including Jesus and the Holy Ghost), is known to you and I through the things that He has created. When you look at the creation around you, God speaks to you through your conscience. That's why you know right from wrong. That is why you know that you are helpless to save yourself from your own sin. Though your conscience can lose its sensitivity when you continually ignore it, it is still there, and God speaks to you through it. Only a fool would say in his heart there is no God. (some caveats about hearing God's Voice)

God has made Himself very obvious in the things that He has created. And God knows that you know. He knows your thoughts even better than you do. You get confused with rationalized supposition and trying to hide your own sinful nature from others and from yourself. God is never confused. He is not impressed with phony arguments or human logic. It's between you and God, not anything else.

You can't fool God. No one can. He knows.
Romans 1:20
2 Peter 3
Psalm 94:9,10

You are responsible and God holds you responsible.

God knows every thought that you have ever had and everything that you have ever done. God is Love, and the world has rebelled against Love. God is holy and can't even look on that which is not Love, so all of humanity has been separated from God by lack of Love. The lack of love is also known as sin. This sin is simply rebellion against God. It is a desire to NOT commune with God. It is a desire to NOT glorify and respect God and NOT hold Him in holy reverence. It is a desire to add to and take away from God's Word and to follow one's own mind and will, which leads to spiritual death and is the cause of physical misery, sickness, and death.

Almost all, or perhaps all, of what is called love or good by those who are in rebellion against God is actually the exact opposite of Love. There is a price to pay for this rebellion both in this age and in the one to come. That's why we see sickness, disease, turmoil, sorrow, and death. That is why there is a hell. God also knows that we all know that there is a hell, and He knows that scoffers are merely trying to make themselves feel less dread.
Romans 13:9
Isaiah 5:20

Can there be love without God?

For those who think that they can have love without God, John, answers the question: "No."

Without God, there is no love. Are you missing out on love?

For those who think that they can have God without having love, the answer is also, "No."

God is Love.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Romans 5:6-10 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So we cannot have God without love or love without God or God without yielding our lives to Jesus. If you reject one, you reject all the others and you miss out.

What do they mean when they say that God's law is the definition of love?

God's law is the definition of love and God's law also tells us much about God and His justice. God's law is the definition of justice. Those who argue with this must consider that the all-knowing, all-wise God may just be more intelligent than the creature that God created. For some egos, that may be a difficult concept to comprehend.

These commands, don't pervert marriage, kill, steal, or lie, don't want what someone else has or be mad that they have it--or any other commandment, is simple to understand: love thy neighbour.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery (Any Perversion Of Marriage Including Fornication, Sensuality, and Any Other Such Perversion), Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Don't All Ways Lead To God?

No. All ways do not lead to God. God has made one way by which mankind may approach to Him.

Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there salvation in any other [speaking of Jesus]: for there's none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Satan is offering every other way in hopes that foolish people will obey him once again and, so, come into greater slavery. Satan is a liar and a fool is easily tricked by him.

God has offered you and me a way to be free from that slavery to Satan. The name of that Way is Jesus Christ. He is a person, not a religion.

Does The Bible Say That God Is Triune, Does It Teach The Trinity?

Trinity is not a Biblical word, but it is a term used to describe something that can be seen in the Bible. Some try to define the Trinity beyond their understanding and end up delving into things that are too high for them. This is unwise and a sign of spiritual immaturity. There is much that can be known, but much that God didn't tell us, so we can apply the principle of Deuteronomy 29:29 to it.

God is one

1 Corinthians 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

1 Corinthians 8:4-6 Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that there is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

James 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

God as plural

The name Elohim, translated God, is the plural form of El. While this is what is called a plural of plenitude pointing to the power and majesty of God, it certainly allows for the New Testament revelation of the Triunity of God. Gen. 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; Isa. 6:8

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

John 14:9 He who has seen Me has seen the Father.

John 12:45 He who beholds Me beholds the One who sent Me.

Psalm 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Three persons

John 14:16-17 And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:23 If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.

Acts 2:32-33 This Jesus being exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you see and hear

John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

John 14:16-18 & 26 And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Matthew 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Holy, holy, holy

Isaiah 6:3 And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

The Father is God

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Philippians 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is God

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to him (Jesus), My LORD and my God.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Colossians 2:9-10 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power

The Word (identified as Jesus in v. 14) as God

John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:1-38 (for context) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they to him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said to him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day John seeth Jesus coming to him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith to them, What seek ye? They said to him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

The Holy Spirit is God

Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

1 Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (literally: the Spirit, our God.?)

Father sends the Son

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Father and Son send the Holy Spirit

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.
Acts 2:33 Therefore (Jesus) being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

The Unity Of the Persons of the Godhead

John 10:30 I (Jesus) and my Father are one.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

John 14:11 Believe me that I (Jesus) am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

Romans 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be to him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb for ever and ever.
