There will be a coming together of the Body of Christ in unity?Jesus prayed a prayer in John 17: 21, and that prayer will be answered in the affirmative. Jesus didn’t pray a foolish or unacceptable prayer in John 17:21. All His prayers will be fulfilled. The one prayer in which He prayed, "Not my will but Thine be done . . . " was his prayer for release from the cup, and that was probably prayed more for our sakes than His, showing that the was no other possible option for our salvation. John 17: 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Some may ask accusingly, "Where is the unity?" There will be unity. God is moving toward that end. . There are many folds now and one Shepherd, but there will come a day when there will be one Shepherd and one fold.
The unity won’t come by some man-made organization or agreement. It will be by the Spirit in glory. As disunity speaks of Babylon and immaturity, spiritual maturity will result in unity and order. Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: Joh 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. When we come into that kind of unity with the Father and the Son, there will be unity in the Body of Christ. Unity, the coming together of the Body of Christ, is in the plan of God, but it will come in God’s timing and in His way, not through ecumenical movements and human efforts. First, the foundation of apostles and prophets must be fully laid. Then, they will equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Then, there will be unity.

The Bible can only be understood by revelation, and revelation is given by the Spirit of God. God does reveal in His own way. But we only know in part. If we think we know any thing, we do not know it as we ought. We are instructed, by God, to keep seeking Him. The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. The truth sets us free. Lies bind us. Whoever seeks Jesus does find Him. Jesus is the truth.
