Is God the source of all that is good?

We have nothing that we can bring other than to turn ourselves over to Him. He has done it all. We just need to yield to His love.

How Can I Know God?

There is a huge difference between knowing about God and knowing God. Knowing about God is nice, but it can't change my life.

God makes exclusive claims for His way. There is only one way back to God.

As I come to know God more intimately, that changes my life even more than being born again.

That's why God gave so much beyond just being born again.

Everyone who believes in Christ is born again. That doesn't mean they will ever grow up in Him, though. When Christians stunt their growth by living a worldly life, this is not only a tragedy for the rebellious child of God who never grows up. It also casts a bad light on Jesus Christ and all His called out people. It gives fuel to the scoffers and abusers of Christ.

We get to know God by spending time with Him and respecting Him and loving Him. The word, "fear," in the King James Bible, means respect. If we love Him, we keep His commandments and they aren't grievous to us. They are enjoyable. (1 John 5:3) The Holy Spirit, flowing through us, makes them enjoyable.

God has given us the Holy Spirit so that we can have a changed life and walk in holiness.

It is the Holy Spirit Who enlightens the Christian to the fact that the Bible is the Word of God, without error or contradiction. And all that can be observed in the physical realm shouts, "Amen!" Though that enemy of our souls always brings many lying accusations to the contrary, the Scripture cannot be broken. (John 10:35)

The Holy Spirit, through the Scripture and what we can easily observe shows us that God created the world, and it was good. There was no death or sorrow. (Genesis 1:31, Genesis 3:22) Then, mankind fell short of God's plan by obeying Satan rather than God. That brought slavery for mankind--slavery to Satan. (Romans 6:16) This was the introduction of sin, which brought death. So death is the result of sin. All the trouble and evil in the world is the result of mankind's own rebellion.

How can a human being come into Holiness? God has a plan.

When a Christian is born again, they believe, and the only reason they are able to believe is because the Father draws them to believe in Jesus and to come to Jesus. (John 6:44-47) When a Christian has been born again, they have the Spirit of God with them. (John 14:16-20) They are immediately changed into a new person, seated with Christ in heavenly places. (Ephesians 2:5-6) When a Christian goes under the waters of baptism, they are burying the old sinful self and when they come up out of the water, they are rising in newness of life. (Romans 6:2-14) In the same way, when a Christian receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they are endued with power from On High. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 10:34-48, Acts 19:2-6) The Christian receives gifts of the Spirit by the laying on of hands by a group of elders who are called to that purpose. (1 Corinthians 12, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6)

As the Christian gives himself or herself to the gifts that have been given through prophecy and the laying on of hands, the ministry grows from those gifts. The gifts are the beginnings of the manifestation of the sons of God. They are an unveiling of the Christ within. The gifts of the Spirit are the weapons of our warfare. They are the tools that the ministry needs if it is to operate.

The gifts and ministries are used in the church, and there is an order for everything. The orders of God are simply the manifestation of the Christ who has been born in God's people.

We get to know God by learning to submit to His glory and walk in the glory of His Spirit. The Spirit of God is always orderly and leads in orderly way. God never leads us into sin or disorder.

There is an order for the home. (Ephesians 5:21-33) There is an order for the worship service. (1 Corinthians 14, Colossians 3:18-21) There is an order of elders and deacons in the local church. (1 Timothy 3:1-13 & 5:17, Titus 1:5, James 5:14-15) There is an order for apostles and deacons to the apostles. (Acts 6:5-6, Acts 8:14-20, Acts 15:2-16:4, 1 Corinthians 1:10-4:2, 1 Corinthians 4:9, 1 Corinthians 12:28, 2 Corinthians 11:13-14, Ephesians 2:19-22, Ephesians 3:1-5)

This is the hope of the church and the hope of the world.

In obeying the Spirit of God, we are drawn closer. The flesh dies. We are built up in Christ. (Romans 6, 7, and 8) Our senses are exercised by reason of use. (Hebrews 5:14) The human mind, which was never created to be used outside of a submissive relationship with God, comes into submission to the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:3-14, Romans 12:2, James 1:8, 2 Corinthians 8:12, Ephesians 4:23, Philippians 2:5-7, 2 Timothy 1:7, Hebrews 8:10, 1 Peter 4:1, 1 Peter 5:2) God is looking for a company of people who will speak His words and think His thoughts and do His acts as He flows, by His Spirit, through them, enduing them with power from on high. These are the first fruits of the Kingdom of God.

Anything else falls short of the glory of God.

The Church is part of this process, and we are built up by that which every joint supplies. (Ephesians 4:15-16, 1 Corinthians 14) Each of us is only a part. God chose to make us interdependent by dividing His gifts among us in such a way that we must walk into the Kingdom of God together in love. (1 Corinthians 12)

Why do some people deny that God exists?

God Knows Why People Reject Him.

God Is Holy And God Requires That You Are Holy.

Everyone Has Fallen Short.

If You Reject Jesus, You Are Rejecting The Mercy And Grace Of God.

The Wages Are Real: Heaven And Hell Are Real.

God's Love Is So Great He Gave His Unique Son To Buy Us Back.

God's Purpose Is To Bring You Back Into His Family.

God's Purpose Is To Have You Grow Up To Maturity.

There Is A Cost To Receiving Jesus As Your Savior.

Both materialistic evolutionary theory and theistic (God-controlled) evolutionary theory claim that we are all descendants of fish. Who could believe such a message? Only someone who wants to avoid God.

Given the scientific facts that have been uncovered, a person would have to be willingly ignorant to believe such a thing. They would have to want very badly not to know about God's power and sovereignty, wouldn't they? They would have to just blind their eyes.

You and I know that God created us and God knows that we know.

There is a lot that you and I know about God just by looking at the creation. The Bible is very clear that God speaks to you through the Bible, and not only through the Bible. In Paul's letter to the Romans, it says that everything that can be known about God, and the Godhead (including Jesus and the Holy Ghost), is known to you and I through the things that He has created. When you look at the creation around you, God speaks to you through your conscience. That's why you know right from wrong. That is why you know that you are helpless to save yourself from your own sin. Though your conscience can lose its sensitivity when you continually ignore it, it is still there, and God speaks to you through it. Only a fool would say in his heart there is no God. (some caveats about hearing God's Voice)

God has made Himself very obvious in the things that He has created. And God knows that you know. He knows your thoughts even better than you do. You get confused with rationalized supposition and trying to hide your own sinful nature from others and from yourself. God is never confused. He is not impressed with phony arguments or human logic. It's between you and God, not anything else.

You can't fool God. No one can. He knows.
Romans 1:20
2 Peter 3
Psalm 94:9,10

You are responsible and God holds you responsible.

God knows every thought that you have ever had and everything that you have ever done. God is Love, and the world has rebelled against Love. God is holy and can't even look on that which is not Love, so all of humanity has been separated from God by lack of Love. The lack of love is also known as sin. This sin is simply rebellion against God. It is a desire to NOT commune with God. It is a desire to NOT glorify and respect God and NOT hold Him in holy reverence. It is a desire to add to and take away from God's Word and to follow one's own mind and will, which leads to spiritual death and is the cause of physical misery, sickness, and death.

Almost all, or perhaps all, of what is called love or good by those who are in rebellion against God is actually the exact opposite of Love. There is a price to pay for this rebellion both in this age and in the one to come. That's why we see sickness, disease, turmoil, sorrow, and death. That is why there is a hell. God also knows that we all know that there is a hell, and He knows that scoffers are merely trying to make themselves feel less dread.
Romans 13:9
Isaiah 5:20

Can there be love without God?

For those who think that they can have love without God, John, answers the question: "No."

Without God, there is no love. Are you missing out on love?

For those who think that they can have God without having love, the answer is also, "No."

God is Love.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Romans 5:6-10 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So we cannot have God without love or love without God or God without yielding our lives to Jesus. If you reject one, you reject all the others and you miss out.

What do they mean when they say that God's law is the definition of love?

God's law is the definition of love and God's law also tells us much about God and His justice. God's law is the definition of justice. Those who argue with this must consider that the all-knowing, all-wise God may just be more intelligent than the creature that God created. For some egos, that may be a difficult concept to comprehend.

These commands, don't pervert marriage, kill, steal, or lie, don't want what someone else has or be mad that they have it--or any other commandment, is simple to understand: love thy neighbour.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery (Any Perversion Of Marriage Including Fornication, Sensuality, and Any Other Such Perversion), Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Don't All Ways Lead To God?

No. All ways do not lead to God. God has made one way by which mankind may approach to Him.

Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there salvation in any other [speaking of Jesus]: for there's none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Satan is offering every other way in hopes that foolish people will obey him once again and, so, come into greater slavery. Satan is a liar and a fool is easily tricked by him.

God has offered you and me a way to be free from that slavery to Satan. The name of that Way is Jesus Christ. He is a person, not a religion.

Does The Bible Say That God Is Triune, Does It Teach The Trinity?

Trinity is not a Biblical word, but it is a term used to describe something that can be seen in the Bible. Some try to define the Trinity beyond their understanding and end up delving into things that are too high for them. This is unwise and a sign of spiritual immaturity. There is much that can be known, but much that God didn't tell us, so we can apply the principle of Deuteronomy 29:29 to it.

God is one

1 Corinthians 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

1 Corinthians 8:4-6 Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that there is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

James 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

God as plural

The name Elohim, translated God, is the plural form of El. While this is what is called a plural of plenitude pointing to the power and majesty of God, it certainly allows for the New Testament revelation of the Triunity of God. Gen. 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; Isa. 6:8

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

John 14:9 He who has seen Me has seen the Father.

John 12:45 He who beholds Me beholds the One who sent Me.

Psalm 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Three persons

John 14:16-17 And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:23 If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.

Acts 2:32-33 This Jesus being exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you see and hear

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

John 14:16-18 & 26 And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Matthew 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Holy, holy, holy

Isaiah 6:3 And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

The Father is God

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to him (Jesus), My LORD and my God.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Colossians 2:9-10 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power

The Word (identified as Jesus in v. 14) as God

John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:1-38 (for context) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they to him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said to him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day John seeth Jesus coming to him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith to them, What seek ye? They said to him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

The Holy Spirit is God

Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

1 Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (literally: the Spirit, our God.?)

Father sends the Son

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Father and Son send the Holy Spirit

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.
Acts 2:33 Therefore (Jesus) being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

The Unity Of the Persons of the Godhead

John 10:30 I (Jesus) and my Father are one.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

John 14:11 Believe me that I (Jesus) am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

Romans 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Jesus receives the same worship as the Father

Revelation 5:11-14 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be to him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Philippians 2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Romans 8:18-23 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed [Apocalypse, Unveiling] in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation [Apocalypse, Unveiling] of the sons [huios, mature sons] of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same...

It is important that we are obedient to the Spirit of God as He reveals the order in the Scripture.  We are learning to hear His Voice and respond to it.  It is also important to note that no one can select his or her own calling or gift.  No one can decide to have an office in the Church or a gift of the Spirit or a certain ministry. ...

As already mentioned, the Body of Christ is Christ the Body.  When we can discern the Body of Christ, it opens a door for us to see more clearly in the realm of the Spirit.  While our fleshly nature thinks that we have a real identity outside of the Body of Christ, this is not reality.  The reality is that our identity is in Christ, specifically, the Body of Christ...

Discerning the Body of Christ is righteousness. \"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth to a holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together...

Many are captive to the religious systems of this age. About half of all Christian churches teach more liberalism than they teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many who teach the gospel of Jesus Christ are intent on proving that they have the completeness. The word, "peace," in Jeremiah 6:14, means "completeness." It is the Hebrew word, "Shalom," which is used for "hello" and "goodbye" but means "completeness."  Note also that they...

This is God\'s process, and it does not happen by human effort. We cannot strain to yield. We must let God do the work in us. When we fail, we get up and walk again. When our brother or sister misses the target, we help them to get up and walk again. We restore them. If one walks away from God, we look to God for how to bring them...

The Five-Fold Ministry or 5-fold ministry has become a popular subject in some circles, although the major revelation concerning this subject was unveiled by the Spirit of God about the middle of the twentieth century.  Many of the newer human interpretations of this Divine revelation have modified the Truth to allow some people to cater to considerations of money, power, pleasure, and prestige.  The original revelation concerning apostles, prophets, evangelists,...

God has a method for bringing us to maturity in Him. His plan is that we would be transfigured by the renewing of our minds. His method is that every member have one or more gifts and that those gifts be...

Search The Scripture And You Will Find That It Says A Lot About Apostles--and They Are For Today, Not Just The Past. An apostle must be set by God.  No one can appoint himself to the office of the apostle.  It is NOT an office that glorifies the individual now, any more than it was in the early days of the Church.  There is no such thing as a maverick apostle or a chief...

There Is Only One Scriptural Church Government Order.  There Are Many Man-engineered Orders For Church Government.  Scriptural Church Order: There is only one order defined in Scripture for the Church.  That order of authority is the Spiritual order.  It is the order of the Holy Spirit.  In the Kingdom of the Heavens, when it fully comes, this Spiritual order will become the order of the government of the entire earth. ...

The Bible doesn\'t really say much about pastors (as a noun).  It talks about elders (plural) who are to pastor (a verb meaning to care for as a shepherd cares for sheep) the local church members.  Pastors (as a noun) are only mentioned among the five traveling ministries/offices in Ephesians 11.  Something happened during the dark ages to destroy the order of the church.  New ideas were introduced by people...

God's Way is not a smorgasbord from which the Christian may pick and choose.  For each person, God pulls back the veil of the flesh so the person can see some element of the Kingdom of God.  The person either receives the revelation or not.  We are all on the road somewhere.  Many are stuck in a rut because they continually reject what God has revealed to them.   Many rejected...

It seems as if the Scriptural order of the Church is widely rejected by religious people.  There are several reasons. First, any precept of God is spiritual in nature.  Spiritual things must be revealed.  They are not reasoned out.  Even the Scripture says that spiritual things must be spiritually discerned.  How can someone walk according to something they can't understand.  Every Christian should be in constant prayer for God's continual unfolding revelation.  There are things that...

Scripture defines the Church and its purpose. It is the Bride of Christ, but God\'s purpose is that it become totally clean and without defect first. God\'s purpose is for total unity in the Church. Great Babylon of the Apocalypse is the confusion of voices. It is the divided church, squabbling, making merchandise of the saints and of religion. It is the divisional denominational system that has the unbelievers so mixed up that they wonder who they should believe. Romans 8:28-29 The purpose is that those who have been born are conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Research indicates that many are leaving the traditional churches because those churches are not meeting this need. No amount of human effort could make it happen, but God has a plan. God has a method. God has a way. God has a pattern for everything and His pattern is the only way.  Hebrews...

Jesus prayed a prayer in John 17: 21, and that prayer will be answered in the affirmative. Jesus didn't pray a foolish or unacceptable prayer in John 17:21. All His prayers will be fulfilled. The one prayer in which He prayed, "Not my will but Thine be done... " was his prayer for release from the cup, and that was probably prayed more for our sakes than His, showing that the...

God is not so much concerned with numbers of members in a church.  He is concerned with your growth.  God has given the church what is needed to make this growth take place, but much of the church is taken up with the money, power, and prestige or religion, so they don't listen to God's voice. 1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly...

Our walk is a walk of submission, because God created us to be joined to Him in a mighty relationship of His soveriegn love and our submission to His love.  God is love.  He leads, we acknowledge Him, so faith comes opening the door to His free gift (grace) of righteousness, which is His love.  His love, the free gift of righteousness, does righteousness through us.  By degrees, our eyes...

The Greek word for church, Ekklesia, literally means \"called out or summoned, assembled with a purpose.\"  The disorders in Jesus\' church will fall away, disorders that have been introduced by human ideas.  These human-generated disorders will be replaced by the orders of God, which are the orders of Scripture.  Then, we will find that, just as the Bible says, the church is the very method by which we come into complete...

As with the home, God has an order for the Church, and that order is in the Scripture.  There may be more that needs to be revealed from Scripture, but some things appear to be quite easily understood in the light that God has given today.  We believe that the Holy Scriptures teach:   The 5 apostolic ministries(Ephesians 4:11)   The nine gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10)   Local congregations...

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;   Ephesians 2:20 Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Church.  There can never be any other foundation.  And we must be careful how we build because our work will be tested by fire.  The apostles are built on the foundation of Jesus.  So many organizations have creative little ways to define their doctrines, but...

Can these be counterfeited? Yes.  Every gift of God can be and is counterfeited by the human mind and by powers and principalities.  Even salvation itself is counterfeited.  Worship is counterfeited.  The Bible is counterfeited with false translations.  Ministries are counterfeited.  Healing is counterfeited.  Miracles are counterfeited.  Prophecy is counterfeited.  Tongues are counterfeited.  And, of course, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are counterfeited.  This makes the real no less real, but, in...

\"A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. It\'s notable that the word that is translated \"peace\" in this verse is the word, Shalom. Shalom...

If They Are Forbidden From The Spirit, They Will Partake Of Flesh. People are starved for reality, for real contact with God and real power for righteousness by the Spirit of God. The people of God are literally starving to death...

In some cases, people are being taught that only certain parts of the Bible are valid. What is considered valid or not valid can vary widely across organizations. Some organizations want to get rid of the creation account and what the Bible says about the age of the Earth. Some want to get rid of apostles, prophets, and gifts of the Spirit. Others want to get rid of speaking in...

Humanistic Speculations Whether a member of the New Age, the Humanist movement, the Intellectualism movement, the Agnostic movement, the Atheist movement, or whatever the movement (we\'re referring to ungodly anti-Christ movements), an incredible thing seems to happen almost every time the ungodly express themselves. So what is the meaning of life? You were designed and made for better than what you have been experiencing. You probably know intuitively that we are living far below what God has planned for us. When we think seriously of our individual relationship with Jesus, it might seem like this is such an individual walk that there is no need for the church.  That is not the case in any way.  The church is a vital part of the walk.  We quickly come to the point where the Holy Spirit puts the church on our hearts.  We can see the mighty opposition of all Satan's...

2 Corinthians 10:18 tells us that an apostle must be an apostle by more than just his own commendation and appointment. Acts 6:1-7 records the setting of a number of deacons to help the apostles. Galatians 2:8-9, Acts 9:26-30, and Acts 13:1-2 show that the apostles were on guard against false apostles, but Peter, James, and John discerned the call on Paul and a door opened so...

Question:     My question is this. Our church is beginning to tolerate just about anything. Our Pastor is wanting our board (deacons) to only have the duty of financial matters. He wants all other responsibilities himself. He wants to leave scriptures out of our by-laws that relate to dealing with sin in the congregation. He has a young man at this moment sitting out of our praise and worship team...

Even in the early church, there were false apostles. Notice that the counterfeit did not make the genuine any less genuine.  And there are false apostles today, but the counterfeit does not make the genuine any less genuine.  This is written because some use the false apostles as an excuse for man-made church orders that cannot be found in the Bible. 2Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming...

I heard a Christian say that she is trying to practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. I realized that God isn\'t random or senseless. He doesn\'t need our ideas. He is full of ideas. He doesn\'t want us to use our imaginations to come up with a vision out of our own hearts. He wants us to see a heavenly vision that starts and ends with Him. With these...

There was a man who got a job as pastor in a medium-sized church.  The man had a vision for the big city near his church, so he said.  He generated a lot of support for his vision among pastors of other small churches and became a bit of a folk hero among them.  He spoke with lots of passion.  In these circles, various winds of doctrine would sweep through...

There was a Christian radio personality who used his position on the airwaves to preach against any modern-day apostles. The word, apostle, means \"one sent.\" In other words, he was preaching against any who seem to be sent by God. He claimed that anyone who does not believe what he believes (and a lot of what he believes is very speculative) does not have the Spirit of God. He claimed...

Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation [Apokalupsis: removal of a covering or veil] , and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. Apocalypse (two Greek words, apokalupsis, and apokalupto meaning approximately the same thing) Literally, it means the removal of a covering or a veil....

God\'s way has the Scriptural structure and order and a sure foundation. God is a God of order. He has an opinion on everything, including how the foundation of His Church will be laid. No man can send himself to this work. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of...

Under the order of local elders and deacons according to the Scriptural pattern, we no longer have the useless overhead of massive salaries and building costs. We are able to give two thirds of the tithe money for mission work and care of the poor throughout the world. Most of the money the we use locally is available to help those who are in need. Very little goes for overhead...

Notice that the anointing of oil is reserved for the elders of the church. The elder is also a bishop. This order was changed by men after the order had been established by God. Interestingly, there is no mention ever of a single elder or bishop in a local church. There is no mention of a chief elder. There is no mention of a locally abiding pastor, although the elders...

I have a question about James chapter 5 verses 13 and 14. In verse 13 we are told that if we are afflicted to pray and if we are merry to sing psalms. However, in verse 14, instead of praying for ourselves when we are sick, we are told to call on the elders.   In 13 we do the praying and rejoicing ourselves, but not in 14.   Why does it...

To many, it seems that the church is not fulfilling its purpose.  The reason Christians are leaving many church organizations is because there is no scriptural way provided by which they may grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, which is spoken of in the Scripture. Yet, the Bible plainly lays out the way.  The churches, in many cases, prefer man-made ways to the Bible.  That means that...

Have you considered that your life has a purpose and God knows it and wants to reveal your purpose to you? Do you know your purpose in life?  Are you happy, fully satisfied and completely fulfilled... or do you want something more?  If you continue to think as you have always thought, then you will continue to get what you have always got.  Is it enough?  You can find out...

God so loved the world, that is the cosmos, the universe and its order, that He gave His unique Son so that whoever believes into Him should not die but should have the life of the coming age, an uncreated life that does not end. And how do we believe into Him? It is \"into\" in the original language. Well, who is Christ?  Christ is the Head of the Body in...

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus said, "You must be born again."  Nicodemus didn't have a clue what Jesus meant.  He asked, 'How can I be born again?"  It's a great question.  The answer is, "you must believe in Jesus for deliverance from your sins."  Being born again is getting started on the road to spiritual success.  Once you get started, hopefully, you take ground, hold the ground, and go on to total victory. ...

Question: I have been a member of a denominational church for about 19 years. How can I introduce foundational truth about the Five Fold Gifting to the house and still be submitted to my Pastor? The apostles and the 5-Fold Ministry, What a concept. Do apostles and the 5-Fold Ministry exist in the Bible? As you will see, apostles and the 5-Fold Ministry do indeed exist in the Bible. There are those who would like to ignore apostles and the 5-Fold Ministry. Can we pick and choose those parts of the Bible that we want and leave the rest, sort of like a cafeteria Christian? We don\'t know about the calling of others, but we are called to the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). We know that we are called to the continuing unfolding of revelation in the Scriptures, which is given to the apostles and the prophets sent by God, not sent by men nor sent by themselves (Ephesians 3:5). We are called to the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). We are...

This particular response happens more often in those who have been born again than it does in those who have not been born again. The seed, the gospel of the Kingdom of the Heavens, lands on the trampled path of the heart in a Christian. How did that path get trampled and hardened? Isn\'t a Christian\'s heart supposed to be soft toward God? The heart becomes hardened by repeatedly missing...

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Church?   The strengths of the Church are:   Obedience to God through the power of the Holy Spirit.     And understanding of Scripture through the power of the Holy Spirit.     The orders of the church as God has laid them out in Scripture.     Hope in the promises of Scripture.   The weakness of the Church are:   Disobedience, ungodliness, and...

The Church Becomes Confused About Its Role If It Rejects Scripture. In an effort to become relevant, the leadership moves away from the Bible not realizing that the reason that they are irrelevant is not because they are too close to the pattern of Scripture but because they have moved too far from the pattern of Scripture. Many Christians know, by the Spirit of Christ Who dwells in them, that the...

\"It is because of him [the Father] that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.\" 1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV The battle for righteousness is a battle to correct the proper operation of the human spirit, mind/soul, and body. Of course, this includes correcting our relationship to God. Real righteousness is by grace through faith. Romans 14:23 tells us simply that...

\"It is because of him [the Father] that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.\"   1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV   Holiness is progressive.  It is a change in what we are. It is a basic change in our very nature. You were designed for righteousness, holiness, and total redemption.  There is an upward spiral of righteousness, holiness, and redemption...

Some people say that there are many ways to God or to fulfillment.  This is untrue.  There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved. There is only one Jesus. Whoever is not for Him is against Him. Whoever is against Him cannot be for Him. There is no middle ground. Fulfillment is only available in Jesus. Only through Jesus can we approach...

Once you get started, hopefully, you take ground, hold the ground, and go on to total victory. ...

Question: What is meant by against such there is no law in Gal 5:23? Answer: The fruit of the Spirit is what grows when you yield to the Spirit.  There is no law against the fruit of the Spirit.  The point is that the fruit of the Spirit is the work that God does through you as you yield to Him.  It is not the work you do but it is of the...

In the scriptural order, there is no record of any salary for local elders. There is a pay, low as it might be, for traveling elders/apostles.  Pay for local elders was added later as a man-made order. The order of elders doesn't function properly without the order of apostles. One elder will gain preeminence. The order of apostles doesn't work in a denominational system. The scriptural order is that apostles must be...

Apostles have recently been restored to the church universal. They are the antithesis of the denominational system. Though counterfeits have also arisen, that doesn't make the real any less real. This is important. All sorts of interesting man-made orders and patterns keep popping up for the church to follow... instead of following the teachings of the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit. This complete selection shows much about...

Here is one of many references to the importance of the office of the apostle in the Church. If you take time to read the entire chapter, you will see that the apostles are not superior in any way. They have more responsibility. Other scriptures show us that they were in submission to each other and that there is no such thing as a chief apostle. The church order was...

Here is the pattern for the establishment of doctrine in the church. Of course, the scriptural order of apostles upon which this pattern rests has been widely rejected in the church, but let God be true and every man a liar. The order is this. Doctrine is established by apostles. Apostles are sent to deliver the doctrine to the local churches. It\'s a very simple and effective order. This is the...

The apostles are very much a part of the Scriptural order of the church. The church must return to the pattern that God has given. Acts 8:14-20 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:  (For as yet he...

False Apostles Don\'t forget where you are going. You get past the questions/attacks so you can proclaim the Gospel. It is the proclamation of the Gospel, not argumentation, that transforms minds. See Give Them the Gospel. There are false apostles, promising great wealth and all sorts of other things, but it is the responsibility of every Christian to be close enough to God to know the difference between the false and...

The Holy Spirit The baptism of the Holy Spirit is real and available to you today. Scripture speaks of two distinct types of tongues. Liberalism rejects the power of the Holy Spirit It is puzzling why some Christians become upset about speaking in tongues. Why would anyone want to reject the free gift of God? Speaking In Tongues Is Biblical. What does the Bible say? First, it must be stated that tongues can...

Gifts are given by the laying on of hands of the presbytery and prophecy.  This is God's way.  It is critical that God's process be followed, especially since there have been some who have prayed and prophesied over people without having authority from God to do so.  This imparts the wrong spirit.    When you are set into your ministry by the laying on of hands of the presbytery, this...

False Kingdoms Those who have tried to set up their own kingdoms have failed because they went out from the Body of Christ. They went out from those ministries who were established by God. Some have even tried to call themselves or others to be apostles to try to simulate a scriptural order, and they have failed. Some have claimed that Scripture that refers to apostles is no longer valid. By...

God has a pattern for the Church, and that pattern is in Scripture.  His pattern is important to Him....

With maturity comes clarity. The more we walk into holiness, the clearer our vision becomes. All our spiritual senses are heightened. We begin to see better. Our tastes change. We start to see that there is no satisfaction in what is worldly or ungodly. We see the other members of the Body of Christ as being part of our own identity in Christ. If they rejoice, we rejoice. If they feel pain, we actually begin...

You can know the will of God by being led by the Spirit. Then, the next question is this: \"How can I know it is the Spirit and not myself?\" Here are ten things you need to know about being led: 1.

The purpose of this page is to set aside some of the definitions of the word, church. When the Bible is speaking of the Church, it is not speaking of a building.

I was recently given numerous writings and personal papers of the now deceased MILFORD E. KIRKPATRICK, who was present at the beginning of the outpouring. Some of the \"papers\" are originals and others are copies. Kirpatrick is identified in a 1948 edition of The Sharon Star as \"Secretary\" of Global Missions. By 1950 George Warnock was the \"Secretary\". Kirkpatrick was a missionary-minded minister and a pilot, also a speaker on...

We know that the ministries and offices of the Church are counterfeited. Every gift of God, including salvation, is counterfeited. By their fruits shall you know them. The Scriptural order is very plain. The counterfeits: There are many instances where authority is claimed but a man or an organization is glorified. Anyone would know that this is not from God. A friend of mine went to a seminar where anyone who wanted it could purchase...

God forbids speculation. Science used to mean knowledge. Now it means a process by which we look at evidence in various ways and then make up creative stories about that evidence. My Grandpa, a denominational Pastor, warned me about the liberals (often called \"progressives) coming into the church. The problem enters in when some do not want to obey God. They deny Scripture. It is easy to be deceived and find ourselves out of the will of God. The sinful nature is...

God has an order for receiving revelation, and He has given us that order in Scripture.  Mankind claims an authority that has not been given by God.  Some people say that they have a calling, but God never called them.   2 Corinthians 11:13 and Revelation 2:2 speak of false apostles.   Acts 13:6, 2 Peter 2:1, Mark 13:22, Mathew 24:24, Mathew 24:11, Luke 6:26, Isaiah 44:25, Jeremiah 50:36, Jeremiah 23:16, Jeremiah 23:21, and many other Scriptures speak of false prophets.   Acts 20:29, 2 Peter 2:1, 2 Peter 2:12, and Matthew 7:15 speak of false teachers.   Ezekiel 34:2-10, Ezekiel 34:17-22, and John 10:12-13 speak of...

In the church universal, there were also elders and deacons. Paul and Peter and John, for instance, were universal traveling elders. They received a wage, though Paul writes that he worked at his trade so that he would not have to accept the pay. There was no chief apostle. Man-made systems crept in As with the local church, over time, the universal church allowed the natural side of the human to...

Walking in submission will cause you to grow in Christ. Walk in submission to Christ, and you will grow.   When children submit to parents, they are built up and they grow in Christ.    When wives submit to their husbands, they are built up.   Since the apostles are built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, walking in submission to the government of the church will cause you to grow.   ...

Scripture defines the Church and its purpose. It is the Bride of Christ, but God\'s purpose is that it become totally clean and without defect first. God\'s purpose is for total unity in the Church. God\'s purpose is the the Church is the Kingdom of God. It is the final holy temple of God. Without the Church that is built according to the pattern, you will never find fulfillment. To...

The apostles are in unity and harmony.  They must be submission to each other.     Each apostle is under the government of all the other apostles.   There is no such thing as a maverick or independent apostle.   There is no such thing as a chief apostle.   The apostles are not driven after money.   The apostles don't seek fame.   Apostles receive discipline from the other apostles.  Galatians 2:11-16   The apostles...

Yes, God restored apostles to the church.  They are needed to complete the reason that the church is on the Earth.  God restored the 5-fold ministry in the great move of the Spirit that began in 1948 in Canada.  Counterfeits keep springing up all over the place, though, so be careful.  That move that started is still flowing in the Holy Anointing of God and in unfolding revelation.  Truth that...

There...

Question: Would you please help me to connect the old testament ministers to the new testament fivefold offices clearly stating the similarities of these offices. Answer: If you look throughout the old testament, there were elders of families and cities. When the Kingdom of God is fully established, there will likely be elders of families and cities. Consider the parable of the talents. The prophets and patriarchs passed spiritual authority by the laying on...

Definition of Apostle and the 5-Fold Ministry The word, Apostle, means one sent. An apostle is one who is sent by God. 652 αποστολος apostolos ap-os\'-tol-os 1) a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders Define apostle from the context of the Bible. (reference verses can be found further down the page.) Apostles are to be here until the entire church comes into unity. They are a gift given to equip the church for...

Duration:   The apostles will be here until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.     Though the church lost these gifts within the first centuries, God has been gracious to restore them in that great move of the Spirit that began in...

False apostles: Let God be true and every man a liar. Apostles are given the responsibility of protecting the entire flock of God from the attack of the enemy, but with so many voices in the world, each one claiming to be the one that should be listened to, how can you know? You are responsible to be close enough to God so that you can tell the difference between false...

Apostles are NOT infallible: Apostles make mistakes.  Though they have responsibility to rule over the entire church and to receive revelation and doctrine for the entire church, yet, they can make mistakes.  This is why apostles make every effort to only teach the apostle's doctrine, that doctrine which has been revealed to all the brethren. There is a time recorded in the Bible when Peter was in the wrong...

Apostles Equip the Church with the Foundation: Jesus declared that He would build His church on the foundation, a mighty boulder (Himself) and that Simon was a little stone, indicating that Simon Peter would become part of the foundation. Matthew 16:18 "And I say also to thee, That thou art Peter [little stone], and upon this rock [mighty boulder] I will build my...

Apostles Equip the Church with Doctrine and Revelation: God restored the office of apostle (traveling elder and traveling deacon) to the Church in 1948, so this issue is very important to the Church.     The apostles' doctrine--the church is to abide continually in this doctrine:     Acts 2:42-43 \"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles\' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon...

Apostles Equip the Church with Government: The apostles have authority to command and the members of the church have a duty to do what they were commanded to do. The authority of the apostles goes beyond establishing doctrines to government: 2 Thessalonians 3:4 "And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things...

Apostles Equip the Members of the Churches with Spiritual Gifts:   Paul was part of the presbytery that prayed and prophesied over Timothy, imparting spiritual gifts to equip him for his ministry:       1 Timothy 1:18-19 \"This charge I commit to thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which...

Twenty Apostles are Named in the New Testament of the Bible: Twelve apostles are named: Matthew 10:2-3 "Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname...

Prophecy will be used to bring the Body of Christ into unity.  From the following Scriptures, we can see that apostles had the ministries of prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. This is exactly as it is today: Jesus is the Chief Apostle:     Jesus is the apostle.       John 14:23 \"Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father...

Who sets an apostle? An apostle must be an apostle by more than just his own commendation and appointment.   2 Corinthians 10:18 \"For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.\" Scripture records the setting of a number of deacons to help the apostles:   Acts 6:1-7 \"And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against...

Topic: The Kingdom of the Heavens

You reap what you sow. You need to sow good seed into good ground. The parable of the sower illustrates what stops you--Failure or Success, Success or Failure. God has a vision for our completeness, our fulfillment or success in Jesus. What stops you from seeing the vision? The lies of Satan. What brings you to Failure? The same lies. You know this is a spiritual war, and you know the...

Malachi 3:1-3 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. (2) But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner\'s...

You could look at the Kingdom of God and say that it does cost you everything.  If that is how you view it, you must remember that everything that you have is worth nothing.   Everyone in heaven will have joy.  That will cost you your lack of joy.   Everyone in heaven will have peace.  That will cost you your lack of peace.   Everyone in heaven will have...

So what is the meaning of life? You were designed and made for better than what you have been experiencing. You probably know intuitively that we are living far below what God has planned for us. You were designed and made for glory, to have the power of the Spirit of God flowing through you. Your spirit was made to be joined to the Spirit of God. Your mind, your...

God\'s process is that He leads and we submit to that leading. The Holy Spirit flows and we yield to that flowing. God\'s process is tied to God\'s pattern and leads us into God\'s pattern. God\'s process and pattern lead us into the life of the coming age. The processes of this present evil age lead into death, destruction, and misery. \"I would much rather say that every time you make...

Question: What is the church? How it should be governed. what kind of worship is most pleasing God? Describe the different answers given in the 17th century church of England to these questions. what was the outcome of these controversies? What challenges to traditional theology were experienced in the 17th century and 18th century? and what effects could be seen in the life of the Christian church? what was the usual...

The apostolic age is an assumption that support the theological position that miracles, tongues, the power of God, apostles, prophets, the gifts of the Spirit, the leading of God\'s Spirit, and many other things are no longer available to the church. Duration: Ephesians 4:11-13 The apostles will be here until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man...
