Teachings of Scriptural Christianity
Biblical Christianity's Teachings on God: The Only God is triune, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere-present, and has always existed. No person can find purpose or meaning in life or be fulfilled outside of a relationship with God. God is love and wants a personal relationship with every person.
Biblical Christianity Teachings on the Perfect Creation: God created the universe and everything in it, including man and woman. Both the authority of the infallable Word of God and science confirm this fact. The earth was good.
Christianity's Biblical Teachings that Sin Brought Death: Mankind disobeyed God, fell into sin, and became slave to Satan rather than serving God. Sin brought death and sorrow into the world. Mankind became separated from God and dead, spirit, mind, and body.
Biblical Christianity Teachings on that Death Came to All: Sin passed to all mankind, to such an extent that even human good works are filthy rags to God. Humanity became hopelessly sinful, not reaching the fulfillment that God had planned for them, so every person is in need of the only Savior, Jesus, Son of God, to restore unity with God. Because man had dominion over all the creatures, death reigned over every creature.
Biblical Christianity Teachings on Salvation: God has a plan, a pattern, for Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus not by works. God's salvation is free to all who accept it and provides the only pattern for being born again into God's family. Jesus won much more for us than just being born again, and growing to fullness is a progressive entering into the presence/coming of God (parousia in Greek). God's Way is also the only pattern by which we may all have a new mind--an honest, ethical, pure mind, be transfigured (metamorphoo in Greek), be set free from sin, become holy, fulfill our destiny and purpose, come into unity, and grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. The final enemy to be destroyed is death itself. All of this will be done by God through God's church, the called out body of Christ. Jesus will finally return for His perfect, holy bride.
