Paul's letter to the Colossians. 1. Paul, and apostle, Timothy [an apostolic deacon]--bearing fruit--Christ: rescued us, the image of God, the creator, the Head of the body, the church, the dwelling-place of all fullness, the reconciler of ALL things to Himself--working according to His power that mightily does the work 2. God's mystery: Christ Himself--discipline and stability, built up in Him--freedom from being deceived by human ideas--freedom from philosophies--the fullness of God dwells in Christ and in Him you are complete--freedom from human judgments--Christ disarmed Satan and his demons--freedom from perverted worship of those who have become disconnected from Christ--freedom from human doctrines 3. risen with Christ, seeking those things above rather than earthly things--don't listen to the urgings of your body toward sin but put on the New Man (Christ) with His works as He rules in your innermost being--Let Christ's utterance dwell within--do all in His Name (He does the work)--wives submit to husbands; husbands love your wives; children obey your parents; workers obey your bosses 4. bosses treat your servants well--pray--Tychicus--greetings
