Reproof and prophecy about the coming Messiah.

1. God's love but no honor returned--polluted bread and disrespect toward Christ--they said, "What weariness it is." and snuffed at the Lord

2. Not honoring God--judgment--all have one Father Creator God, so why hurt each other--adultery, divorce--profaned the sanctuary--do what's wrong and then cry out about the consequences--they said, " "Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them," or, "Where is the God of justice?"

3. God will judge--robbing God in tithes and offerings--arrogant scorners say, "what profit is there in serving God since evil-doers are blessed"--a record made of all who speak of the Lord

4. the Day when the wicked will be burned up and those who respect and honor Him will receive healing an growth from the Sun of righteousness--Elijah will come before that day
