What is the meaning of life? Many people say there is no meaning of life. Many offer alternative meanings of life. These alternatives are destructive. Hedonism is offered up as an vain alternative. Other useless philosophies are offered up as the meaning. They say that life can only have a proximate meaning. This is because these people are without God in the world. Many have struggled to try to find meaning of their lives. Atheism, Humanism, and the story of evolution have left so many people leading a meaningless life. The fact is that, apart from God, there really is no meaning to life. The meaning of life is that you were created to be joined to God in a way that is beyond all human comprehension. Those who hate God have made up stories that try to eliminate God or else distort who God is. Theologians and cult leaders often create imaginary gods that are nothing like the true God. Some people say that God did not create the universe, but if that were true, the meaning of life is non-existent. Some say that everything evolved on it's own. The Bible says that it is God Who has made us and not we ourselves. Evolution says that we made ourselves--and all of science and all of the Bible says that evolution is a lie. There are many other such lies. Every lie has it's own form of bondage and frustration. There are as many lies as there are cults. Yet, God wants you to believe Him, since He cannot lie and He always speaks the Truth to us. God has a plan. His plan is to reconcile everything to Himself. The first step in that plan is for the Church to be built according to the pattern of Scripture so that it can be a pure and holy bride of Christ. That is the meaning of life. We may not be able to understand every detail of the meaning of life, but those things that have been revealed are for us. They make life worth living and exciting. The true God is Love. And the only source of Love is the true God. Love is God and God is Love. Love gives meaning to life. Love is the fulfillment of the law of God. The entire law of God can be summed up in one word, "Love." The fulfillment of the law is righteousness. Love is righteousness. How than could anyone try to be righteous without God? How could anyone thing they could have Love without having God? No one can come to God the Father except through Jesus, God the Son. Jesus is God and the Father is God. If you have Jesus, you have Love. Sin is the lack of Love. God's light shines onto every person who enters the world. (John 1) God knew how you would react to His light before He created you, so He was able to predestine you to glory if that is the way you are going to choose. At any moment, however, you can receive or reject God's light and glory. You can find the meaning of life or reject it.
