Amos 6:1 Woe to those who are at ease in Zion
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
God is calling His people to come up higher. Staying where we are would be disobedience.
When a child is born, it is a wonderful day. When a person is born again, it is even more wonderful. Yet, how would we feel if our newborn baby was still a newborn baby ten or fifteen years later?
